We spent a fantastic week at La Grange. The property is beautifully appointed, spacious and well equipped. The lakeside setting is tranquil and we spent many hours just sitting on the patio taking in the view! A perfect place to relax, the property also is in a good location to explore the pretty villages and beautiful countryside, not to mention the Loire chateaux, in the area. A Carrefour is less than a 5 minute walk away which was extremely handy! Jaqueline and Patrick were wonderful hosts: hospitable, friendly and full of local knowledge. We would definitely come again and cannot recommend La Grange enough.

We absolutely loved our stay here and did not want to leave! Upon arrival Jaqueline and Patrick made us feel so welcome. Jacqueline showed us around the house, which has everything you could ever need, plus gave us lots of information about the area, and advised on things to do. I can speak a tiny tiny bit of French, but Jacqueline speaks good English, so we were able to communicate well.It's so relaxing here, whether you're sitting inside looking out over the lake, eating outside or wandering around the lake, you are surrounded by nature, beauty, and peace. It's so easy to relax here and switch off from the outside world, which is just what we needed.We cooked every day rather than eating out, and the kitchen had piece of dinner wear, cutlery and utensil you could ever need. We wouldn't hesitate to stay with Jacqueline and Patrick again, and we can't thank them enough for making our stay so wonderful.

Right from the moment we met Jacqueline and later Patrick we knew this was a quality location run to very high standards which werent going to be allowed to drop.We were shown how everything worked and where it was located and later Jacqueline came back and introduced us to the key places to see in the surrounding area. Patrick and Jacqueline are a very friendly and helpful couple and were there when needed or just for a chat in Franglais. The cottage and its setting are superb. From the patio table with adjustable sun shade to the huge bathroom with a walk in shower to the well equipped kitchen - its all there. Also, to be able to walk around a lake from your front door or just to sit and watch the Mallards and other wildlife were great bonuses to have in a holiday home. The location of this cottage gives you easy access to the whole semi circle of the Loire from Blois to Sancerre and its many interesting towns and chateaux. To be recommended.
