Great little property in a very nice, quiet spot near to Lake Annecy and beautiful Alps countryside. Well equipped and convenient, overall a very nice stay. Thones has everything you need, supermarket in walking distance and a great municipal pool with views of the mountains. Only minor issue is that the 2nd bedroom (bunk beds) doesn't have a door, only a curtain, which meant we had to avoid making any noise downstairs in the evening.

Where to start. The apartment is situated a few minutes away by car from Thones city centre and is very quiet with a nice view of the mountains. We felt instantly at home in this wooden authentic apartment which was extremely functional and very clean. We were also able to enjoy a nice garden behind the property. Annette and Pierre are so lovely and welcoming that we would not hesitate to come back. This time maybe a skying holiday !We went out every day as there is so much to do in this beautiful region of France. A car is a must though to be able to enjoy as many activities as possible.We enjoyed a long walk in Col des Aravis, swimming in the beautiful surrounding lakes. Our favorite was the town of Talloires which has the most amazing scenery from the top.Another must is the town of Chamonix with view of the Mont Blanc. It is worth taking the ski lift, but not necessarily all the way to the top as the views are still amazing.Our 5 year old daughter loved the open air swimming pool in La Clusaz with all the slides. Again the views were outstanding, you are literally swimming surrounded by mountains. A dream holiday, full of memories. Agathe, Jason and Elena.
