Ideal location, surrounded by nature, in the small listed village of Saint Léonard, direct and private access to the shore, breathtaking view of the Mont, fully renovated house. Huge fireplace in the living room ideal for beautiful winter evenings. For the summer, Very large enclosed garden of over 1000 m2. The beaches are 3 km away (village of Genêts, Bec d'Andaine beach) or a little further on Jullouville and Carole. Crossings on foot or on horseback (with a guide) can be done from the house.

The country house and surrounding towns were beautiful, the proximity to water and marsh and fields was refreshing and revitalizing. We came to see Mont Saint-Michel and to celebrate the Liberation with those in the towns near the landing beaches up North. The house was cozy and had all the essentials.

You can tell that this home has been a place where the host’s family has made wonderful memories over many years. I feel so lucky to have been able to continue the tradition with my own family. This is NOT a bland home, with plain decor that you might find in any hotel chain. This home drips with personality, of family history, and reflects the artistry and culture of the local Normandy landscapes. I felt so comfortable here, welcomed. The home has everything you could need for cooking and cleaning. The village of St. Léonard is quaint and rural. The nearest grocery store is about 15 minutes away by car. Same with restaurants, gas stations, and bars. But there’s miles of hiking and biking areas along the rural roads and coastline of Mont Saint Michel bay. It’s perfect for birdwatchers, nature-lovers, and sunset-watchers alike. And the view of Mont Saint Michel and Tombalaine are extraordinary. It was an absolutely delightful stay.
