About this cottage rental
Chalet located in the Cévennes National Park (labeled "Esprit Parc") in the middle of a small family farm of 100% natural vines...Chalet (60M²) single-storey wooden frame (classified as furnished tourist accommodation). The layout is very functional...two separate bedrooms, full kitchen equipment, 80cm flat screen TV, WIFI Internet, network access for all mobiles.
Wood stove (cut on the estate) and electric radiators, very well heated space when necessary...
Large covered terrace of 20M² in front of the chalet.
Unheated swimming pool (open from April to October) (length 9.50M; width 4.20M; depth 1.50M), with a wooden floor all around 140M², a wooden safety barrier and an alarm in the water .
Large private outdoor space with garden features.
Numerous deckchairs around the swimming pool (no opening hours at the swimming pool)
The swimming pool is shared with another identical chalet.
Car next to the chalet.
Olive trees, fruit trees (Kiwis, vine peaches, cherries, apricots, apples, figs, plums...)
Enough to be self-sufficient in jam!!
Family vegetable garden.
Compost available in the garden, selective sorting nearby...
No pesticides on the vines, the fruit trees, the garden.
Originally from the village, I will help you discover its very particular history... the history of the Cévennes and its traditional products around the chestnut...
For my part, I produce grape juice, Clinton wine, Cartagena, Verbena (we will share them over an aperitif...)
In the garden trampoline, swing, ping-pong (rackets and balls provided), kindergarten 200M away.
Sports field 100 m from the basketball/football chalet with free access and fitness facilities.
I can lend two mountain bikes for walks and if you come by train (Alès station and then a direct bus which arrives 200M from the gîtes...)
Walks around the chalet, I lend a map and guides...
Two mountains surround us, one with a chapel at its summit, the other with a panoramic view of the Cévennes and beyond (orientation table)...
Small river under the chalet to play or fish...
Tree house for children next to the river.
Magnificent starry sky...The Cévennes are classified as RICE (international dark sky reserve) and there are organized activities to observe the sky...
Many rivers to cool off...
The region is very rich in visits...
In the Gard, Bambouseraie in Anduze, museums, Dinopédia, castles, Pont-du Gard, Nimes, Uzès.
In Ardèche, Chauvet Cave, Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, Ardèche Gorges.
Local shops in the village, grocery store, organic bakery, traditional bakery, pizzas, newsagents, restaurant, supermarket 10 km away.
Every day farmers' market in the surrounding villages...

wunderbar ruhig gelegen! Für die Kinder (10 + 13) war der Pool die Attraktion bei Temperaturen bis 40°C! Für die Erwachsenen ebenso!

Séjour très agréable dans un endroit super calme et entouré de verdure.Propriétaire sympathique, discret, mais toujours là si besoin, il nous a donné des indications et des visites à faire dans les environs. nous avons apprécié son apéritif de bienvenue fait maison, qui permet également de mieux se connaître avec les autres résidents.La piscine est parfaite pour se détendre après une journée de visite ou de randonnée.
Nous recommandons vivement un séjour chez Fabien.

Excellent séjour que celui passé chez Fabien. Très sympathique, il nous a livré plein de bons conseils dès notre arrivée et a été toujours disponible en cas de besoin. La région propose de jolies balades nature à proximité et le gîte est très bien situé. En bref, un séjour parfait

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans un cadre magique entre forêt cévenole et garrigue. Joli petit village avec des villageois très accueillants. Région avec de nombreux sites et petits villages à découvrir (Bambouseraie, Arènes de Nimes, Aigue-Mortes, Pont du Gard, Cascades du Sautadet). Avons beaucoup apprécié le marché d'Uzès et le marché nocture d'Anduze. Location très fonctionnelle avec de surcroît une piscine au milieu des vignes : idéal pour décompresser, surtout au son des cigales. Le propriétaire est très accueillant, disponible et discret à la fois. En bref, nous avons passé un super séjour et espérons y revenir.
