Easy to walk to the Django festival site, supermarkets, shops, town centre and bus stops. Great host, smooth communication.

We stayed at the property for four days during the Django Reinhardt festival. The apartment is very spacious - the entire level is what you rent. We had a family of four in the space and had plenty of room to spread out. Sophie is very responsive and helpful. The flat is perfectly located to walk into the Chateau and explore the town or forest. If you can, definitely check out the market in the town square - so many fresh items to buy!!

Spent a very pleasant 5 nights in Madame Gauthier's two bedroom Fontainebleau apartment. Clean, spacious, airy rooms. Large separate kitchen, living room/dining room and two bedrooms, all with attractive views onto street and roof tops or a green garden to the back. Madame Gauthier was a very responsive landlady, present in town, yet respected our privacy. One of the highlights of our stay was inviting her for tea in her own apartment, where it was a pleasure to make her acquaintance, and we hope to stay in touch with her on future visits to Fontainebleau.
