About this farm stay rental
This 17th century farmhouse, in the center of a magnificent chestnut grove populated by an exceptional fauna and flora, is located on the end of a ridge overlooking Chamborigaud and its viaduct with a backdrop of Mount Lozère at 1680 m . The baths that we will locate you are more beautiful than the others. We will also show you the many hiking trails (pedestrian, mountain bike, horse, donkeys ...) that wind through forest landscapes surrounded by heather and broom, scented with multiple species of flowers, trees, shrubs, wild and aromatic plants.
-The busy seasons will make you discover a multitude of flowers in spring, blackberries and apples in summer, chestnuts in autumn and the warmth of the house with its wood stove to cook sometimes under the snow some winters.
-This farmhouse has been recently restored with local and traditional materials, parquet flooring and chestnut staircase, walls lime hemp plaster, terracotta tiles.
It is fully autonomous in electricity and heating.
-The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder with coffee beans for experts, and a wood stove for cooking, oven and hot water. A 2 gas plate for troubleshooting.
-The bathroom has a large shower with mixer and solar heated water and wood stove, a sink and a hanging toilet connected to a phytopurification by plants.
-The wooden terrace of the ground floor with the house is covered by a wisteria and a sail and has table chairs and barbecue.
-The master bedroom with a bed 160 is on the ground floor with the living room, kitchen and bathroom.
-The mezzanine is equipped with a sofa bed and armchairs, a large TV and a Wii U with some games.
-The children's room upstairs has 2 bunk beds with playmobils, comics and an assembly game for the little ones.
-In the laundry room there is a washing machine, a vacuum cleaner and a drying rack.
-Possibility to connect to 4G throughout the house.

We had a fantastic week’s stay. The historic and beautifully restored house and it's setting are stunning. Daniel was the perfect host and the advice he gave about places to visit in the area was much appreciated.

My husbond and I had a fantastic week in this beautiful and peacefull spot in the Cevennes.
We were greeted by Agnès and Daniel who were extremely friendly and very helpfull in pointing out the spectacular places to visit in the area and also where to go grocery shopping. You could feel that they were very passionate about the place and we were thoroughly introduced to how everything worked in terms of heat, electricity and suppliances.
The farm has spectacular views and so many cosy places to sit and to enjoy meals or just take in the surroundings.
The house has everything you need to have a comfortable holiday and we had dinner every evening beside the amazing pool enjoying the sun setting behind the mountains.
And on days with no exscurtions we took lunch in the very charming court area besides the kitchen/dining room. We also had a couple of clear nights so we used it for star gazing - it was breathtaking...
The grounds are beautiful and we were very fond of all the chestnut trees and all the butterflies that payed us many visits during the day. Every afternoon was spent by the pool, swimming, reading or just relaxing - it was pure bliss.
Our stress level was below zero after an amazing week and we are both dreaming of going back again in the near future, because we instantly fell in love with the place.

Superbe maison en pleine forest dans les Cévennes. La vue est a couper le souffle, aucun vis-à-vis, aucune nuisance sonore ou lumineuse (paradis pour les astronomes amateurs).
Très certainement un des meilleurs endroits que nous aillons jamais eu la chance de louer.
