We stayed in Annick and Gerard's apartment for 8 nights from 17th August 2015. Our family of two parents, one child and one grandparent enjoyed our holiday immensely, and would go back. We found the location of the apartment, just off the main street of La Baule and 200 metres from the beautiful beach, very convenient, and found both Annick and Gerard very helpful and hospitable with regard to lifts to and from the train station, as well as providing us when asked with some towels and a kettle for the apartment. We had 5 sunny days and 2 wet days. Annick and Gerard cannot control the weather, but if they could, we would have had 7 sunny days!

On arrival we were met by Annick and Gerald, who were extremely helpful in every way, showed us all of the nice things to do in the area (which there are many!) and even had some local Cider left for us to enjoy! The apartment was fabulous, perfect four our family of 4 adults and 3 young children. Everything you could want or need is in the apartment. The apartment is also perfectly situated just off the main street of the town with ice cream shop right outside and creperie across the road, as well as the shops, restaurants and bars all along the street.(great atmosphere on this street) Then at the end of the street was the gem of the holiday only about 200m from the apartment was the la Baule beach, 9km long beautiful beach for perfect sunbathing, swimming, safe for kids etc.. There are many things to do here besides the beach though, trips to, salt marches, la Croisic, Nantes (Les Machines), San Nazaire, local markets, La Baule has a beautiful park, Nantes Safari Zoo to name a few.
Best holiday we had in years, made all the better by Annick and Garald who were just extremely helpful in every way and were genuinely wanted us to feel that we had a good time!
We will be back!
