About this cottage rental
Come and stay in the Moulin de la Fontaine, 1h30 from Paris, in a calm and restful setting in the heart of the countryside, with a large open space and a 9 hectare pond for fishing.
The cottage is located on the floor above our house.
The cottage consists of a living room with a sofa bed, television and dining area, a small kitchen with fridge, oven, microwave, hob and coffee maker. A bathroom with shower, sink and WC. And a large bedroom with 2 beds of 140 and 2 beds of 90.
Outside you will have a garden furniture by the pond and a barbecue.
You will find a pedal boat and a ping pong table available to all tenants.
Paddle rental on request.
We are located near Briare where you can visit the canal bridge, 22 km from Gien famous for its pottery and its hunting museum.
Also close to Saint Fargeau and Guedelon for its medieval construction site with the construction of a fortified castle.
And 15 kms from Rogny to visit the seven locks.

La description du gite et son environnement sont conformes. C'est un lieu charmant et à l'écart permettant d'appréhender le rythme serein de la journée. L'usage du pédalo pour sillonner l'étang nappé de nénuphars apporte un brin d'exotisme. Tout en étant kitch et rétro, le gite propose toutes les commodités suffisantes pour être totalement autonome, notamment pour la confection des repas. Les communes environnantes sont des lieux de découverte et de promenade à pieds ou en vélo. A 1h30 de Paris, je recommande pour un long week-end en famille ou en couple. Merci aux proppriétaires pour leur disponibilité et leur discrétion.

Dans une maison ancienne, le gîte (a caractère rustique) est parfait pour passer un séjour calme et reposant. Très bonne accueil, magnifique site au bord d'un très bel étang :
Grande surface à 3 Km environ,
beaucoup de visites a faire (canal de Briare, Gien et sa porcelaine, Sancerre etc ...)
Le coin pique nique avec le Barbecue au bord de l'eau viennent compléter un très bon séjour au calme et ou à la pêche si vous le désirez.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end : repos, pédalo et balades agréables.
Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques ainsi que Rogny le gardien du site « leur adorable chien »
