In the beautiful village of Atsipopoulo a few kilometres from Rethymno centre, you will meet the luxury guest house 'Villa Rogdia', which is a 200 sq metres villa with a private swimming pool and can host up to 8 persons.
Would you like to explore how tradition and luxury can coexist in the same house? If yes, villa Rogdia is definitely your holiday home. Respecting the traditional architecture of Crete we have restored an old traditional house of 1903 in the center of a picturesquare village. In the meantime, we have added at this house all the modern and luxury elements of a new house in order the guests can have relaxing and peaceful holidays.
Villa Rogdia awaits you to experience the Cretan hospitality, tradition and history, as well as pleasurable moments of relaxation and serenity.
Villa Rogdia locates at the same property with two other villas, Elia and Myrtia at the center of village Atsipopoulo, which can meet all your first needs. Supermarket, bakery, groceries and butchery shop, cofee shop, restaurants, ATM and pharmacy are all in walking distance (200 metres from the entrance of the villas). However, as you come in from the entrance of the villas, the whole atmosphere changes, as our villas locate inside the nature in a peaceful and ideal for relaxing enviroment. The center of Rethymno is also 5 kilometres away and 10 minutes drive.
Villa Rogdia is concstructed in maisonette style, measures 200 m2 and has a private swimming pool and a huge balcony. Moreover,it can host 8 persons in 4 bedrooms. Two of them have a double bed and en suite bathroom and the rest two have two single beds each.
On the ground floor you will find the living area with a luxury sitting room, a fireplace, a full-equipped kitchen and a dining area. It also includes a WC, a luxury bathroom with hydromassage, an entertaiment area and a lavatory.
The top floor consists of the bedrooms. There are 2 bedrooms with a double bed and en suite bathroom and two bedrooms with a single bed each. Moreover, there is a small bathroom for the single bedrooms, a lavatory and access to the two balconies. The huge one has with a view of the swimming pool, the traditional village nearby and the nature, while the second one has a view of the traditional village. All the rooms are air-conditioned.
The villa is equipped with Satellite television, DVD player, CD Player and radio, Coffee machinet, Microwave, Toaster, Dishwasher, Clothes washer, Deposit box, Hair-dryer and Baby cot.
The exterior of the villa includes a 27sq. metres private swimming pool, a dining table and seats for all the 8 persons, as well as 8 sunbeds in order you can enjoy the cretan sun. In addition, the villa has its own barbeque facilities for your personal use. The swimming pool of the villa can also be heated with an extra cost of 40 euros per day (upon request at least 7 days before arrival and valid only for the whole booking)
The location of the villas are ideal for exploring our whole island. Located in the center of the north part of Crete, only 3 kilometres from the highway provides easy access from the local airports (Heraklion and Chania) and the opportunity to visit from the big cities of the island to the smallest beaches in both north and south part of Crete.
Guests will have access and full privacy to all areas indoor and outdoor!
We will wait for you in the villa for your arrival (despite the time, even after midnight) in order to help you with the house details and give you as much informations as you want about the area, taverns, shops, places and beaches that you have to visit!
Also we will clean the villa and change towels and linen every 3 days!
Finally we will be there for your departure for our last thank you!
We will be also reachable on our cell phone and e-mails 24/7!
Our home locates only 1 kilometer from the villa, so we will be able to come in a few minutes at the villa for anything that you will need.

It was an amazing stay the host George offers lots of added extras like getting your shopping in before you arrive,breakfast delivery and sorting your car rental or transfers. Everywhere is clean and well presented and in a lovely village and not far from some amazing beaches.Loved it

Our family just finished our stay and cannot say enough about George and his mother’s graciousness and hospitality. They truly make a beautiful place even more enjoyable with their welcome, warmth and commitment to excellence. The house had plenty of space, comfortable beds and furniture and the outside areas with the pool were plentiful. The property was located within walking distance of grocery stores, pharmacy, and tavernas and bakeries. Excellent home and hosts and would highly recommend staying here when visiting Crete.

First of all Gerorge and his family are the most serviceminded people I’ve met.Fantastic tips of beaches to homemade deserts in the kitchen as a surprise. He took care of car rental and fixed everything when we arrived before anything was open.So George, you are the best.And the house... Wow !!Even better then the pictures.So tastefull and wellplanned, big bedrooms all of them with nice interior.A big lovely kitchen with everything you can ask fore, so stylish.And finally the poolarea and the outdoor kitchen. Nice sunbeds a perfect dinnerarea and a lot of space in two floors. The pool is in the center and everything around it is so wellplanned.So the total impression is...I wan’t to move in for good.Thank you for wonderfull week.Niklas & with family
