About this house rental
Mountain house, located in a protected area, in the middle of meadows and forests, near the ski resort of Roubion, it is the starting point for many walks or bike rides.
Calm and peaceful. Ideal for large families (4-5 children) or 2 small families.
The house is composed of:
• main room with American kitchen, fully equipped (dishwasher, fridge, oven, toaster, electric hob and raclette machine), satellite TNT.
• a mezzanine with 140cm double bed and single bed.
• a bedroom with a 160cm double bed and a twin bed.
• bathroom (washing machine, towel heater), separate WC.
• Large wooden terrace for your breakfast and sunny meals
• parkings
The location: The house is located near the Roubion les Buisses ski resort. The resort has developed mountain biking activities on the ski slopes during the summer. The small village of Roubion offers shops such as a grocery store with local specialties, good restaurants ... Roubion is the starting point for several beautiful walks, if you want to enjoy walks and biking in the Mercantour. Valberg and Beuil are nearby by car, to enjoy multi-activities in summer and winter, restaurants, etc.

3 Wochen im Haus von Hervé und Sugako - gerne wären wir länger geblieben.
1. Sugako und Hervé haben uns einen supernetten Empfang bereitet und waren bei Fragen um Haus und Umgebung immer da (Sugako, merci pour le tip de rando "Lacs de Vens", merveilleux).
2. Das Haus: ich weiß gar nicht wo ich beginnen soll, Ausstattung, Küche, Logistik(Wasch-/Spülmittel etcetera, große Kühl-Gefrierkombi), alles da und gut gepflegt. Bad und Betten perfekt (das Bett im Mezzanin bietet großes Kino: Wolken und Sterne durch's Dachfenster, ein Lieblingsort).
3. Große Terrasse mit Rundumblick in die umgebenden Berge, abends immer mit Rehen (Fernglas ist hier im Mercantour immer nützlich). Und der Titel des Hauses "Kleines Haus in der Wiese" ist Programm: rundum blühende Pracht (Mai/Juni) mit 1000en Schmetterlingen und anderen freundlichen Gesellen (übrigens: Keine Mücken :-))
4. Umgebung: Unglaublich schön, oft schroff und wild. Im office du tourisme in Roubion unbedingt besorgen: die Hefte des Departements Alpes Maritimes mit Randos um Roubion (nah), und Moyenne bzw. Haute Tinée.

Wij hebben een zeer fijn verblijf gehad in deze vakantiewoning. Prachtige natuur en gelegen in een zeer rustige omgeving waarbij je steevast wordt begroet door de roep van een koekoek. Ook de omgeving is erg aantrekkelijk waarbij de Gorges du Cians erg mooi zijn om doorheen te rijden. Omdat wij in het voorseizoen op vakantie zijn geweest, waren de stoeltjesliften helaas overal gesloten. Er zijn echter voldoende mogelijkheden om de bergen al wandelend te verkennen. Hou er rekening mee dat voor de wat grotere supermarkten je al snel een uurtje onderweg bent. Het huisje zelf was voorzien van allerlei comfort. Erg compleet in de uitrusting met een heerlijke houtkachel en een enorme voorraad aan hout. Fijne douche, lekker praktische keuken, mooi veranda met relaxstoelen waar je heerlijk kunt genieten van de zon. Bij aankomst werden we opgewacht door onze gastvrouw die uitgebreid de tijd nam om e.e.a. toe te lichten. Al met al een hele fijne week gehad en zeer aan te bevelen als je wilt genieten van rust en ruimte in het prachtige Zuid Frankrijk.

La maison est à la fois typique et bien équipée. L'intérieur est propre et soigné. Les soirées au coin du poêle à bois sont très agréables au printemps. L'extérieur est un grand espace non délimité où les enfants ont tout le loisir d'aller jouer. On peut voir passer des biches et pousser de magnifiques crocus. Les propriétaires sont très soucieux du bien-être des locataires et sont très accueillants. Merci pour ce séjour.
