About this apartment rental
This two-room apartment of 41 m2, comfortable and air conditioned, in a recent luxury residence (2010), has a furnished terrace of 11 m2. It is offered for rental for a maximum of 4 people, children under the age of five not being counted. Sheets are provided.
It is located on the 3rd floor with elevator. A private box is available in the basement for vehicles. The air conditioning is reversible (heating), the steering wheels are remote controlled. Wifi available.
Long term rentals are possible.
The terrace overlooks a patio, with collective garden and offers a glimpse of the sea on its right.
In summer, a night market is held every evening on the port.
Departures by boat to the creeks and the green island are organized from the Easter holidays, they are 5 and 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
The city organizes numerous events for its inhabitants and summer visitors.
The Provencal markets are held every Tuesday and Sunday morning 3 minutes walk from the apartment.
There is a City Carrefour 5 minutes' walk away and several supermarkets 3 km away.

We had a wonderful stay in La Ciotat. The apartment was perfect in every way. It was very central and well equipped. We used the kitchen and had lunch in the terrasse which was fresh even during hot days. Sylvie was extremely kind and even gave us lifts to the train station. Thanks again Sylvie 🙏🏻. Hopefully we’ll be back soon.

Bel appartement bien entretenu dans une copropriété qui l'est tout autant. Il dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires pour des vacances réussies ainsi qu'un box privé pour la voiture. Superficie satisfaisante, balcon spacieux et situation géographique parfaite. Enfin, Sylvie, la propriétaire assure un excellent accueil donc à recommander sans hésiter.

Die Wohnung ist mit allen Geräten ausgestattet, die man brauchen könnte. Die Wohnanlage eignet sich für Menschen mit großem Sicherheitsbedarf: überall Codes, um durch Tore und Türen zu gelangen. Es gibt einen Aufzug, eine Tiefgarage und abgeschlossene Mülleimer. Trotzdem klingelten zwei Bettler erst an der videoüberwachten Haustür, als wir nicht öffneten dennoch kurz darauf an der Wohnungstür.
Für Ferienwohnungen in Frankreich typisch ist keinerlei Grundausstattung für den ersten Tag vorhanden, sodass sie sich für Kurzzeitgäste mit Handgepäck wie uns nicht gut eignet. Man müsste alles neu besorgen oder Mitbringen (Geschirrhandtücher, Kaffee, Öl, Gewürze etc.). Handtücher kosten extra. Die Wohnung ist modern und schwankt zwischen steril, praktisch und mit Nippes dekoriert. Auf dem großen Doppelbett kann man gut schlafen. Der Balkon (weitgehend im Schatten) weist zum Innenhof der Wohnanlage. Von dem französischen Flair des Hafens mit seiner Gründerzeitbebauung ist hier wenig zu spüren, uns trieb es deshalb schnell wieder raus und in das lebendige Hafenviertel.
Kommunikation: Die Eigentümerin teilte uns mit, dass sie uns erst ab 17:30 in die Wohnung lassen könnte, da sie den Schlüssel vergaß (kann jedem passieren), wurde es nach 20:00. Wir warteten an einem Eingang zum Hafen, es gab aber mehrere, es wurde nicht klar kommuniziert, wo wir warten sollten. Wir erhielten eine fast 90 minütige Einweisung in Anlage, Wohnung und Geräte. Das zeigt auch, dass viel Ausstattung und Absicherung auch viel "Bedenken" bedarf. Viel Spiegel und Marmor im glitzernden Treppenhaus ersetzten uns nicht den Charme einer persönlicheren Unterkunft, aber das ist ganz sicher Geschmackssache. Uns war es einfach etwas zu sehr anonymer Hochsicherheitstrack.
