About this castle / palace rental

Close to sailing, windsurfing, and more, this family-friendly castle brings it all within reach. Jump into your car and make short work of the 21-minute drive to Omaha Beach or the 10-minute drive to Museum of the Battle of Normandy (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).

After you return to this 1927-sq-ft castle, you can unwind by the communal pool or sip a drink in the garden; you may also like the outdoor furniture and BBQ grill. When you come inside, connect to the WiFi or get cozy in front of the Smart TV (video library available). There's also table tennis and a DVD player for your enjoyment.

As you settle into this 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom rental, you'll find a living room, a dining area, and a fireplace. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer, towels, and toilet paper. Charming, converted 18th century carriage house attached to a main Chateau where the owners live. Marie-Hélène and her husband Claude could not have been nicer. Situated about a 10 minutes drive west of Bayeux.

Loved the property and its location, Marie-Helene and Claude very welcoming. Kids loved the pool and the grounds, was a great base for us to explore Normandy, would definitely recommend to others, was also lovely to be shown round their own chateau and hear the history behind it.

We loved the location and the fact we were staying in a building built in early 18th century, the host and her husband were welcoming and shared interesting and incredible history of the buildings and their family! The location was so close to DDay sites, grocery stores and museums. We had very peaceful nights in the library with the large French windows open to the breeze and late setting sun each night. The place is large, we had 4 in our family and loved everything about our stay. We would definitely come back!
