About this house rental
Authentic Solognote house completely restored, on large wooded land of 2000m. Very flowered garden especially in spring and summer.
Near the Chateaux of the Loire, Cheverny (the chateau of Tintin), Chambord, Amboise and the Clos Lucey of Leonardo da Vinci, Villandry and its gardens, Blois and its magic museum,. . Beauval Zoo Park (the largest in Europe), Sologne Museum in Romorantin. Festival of the Chaumont sur Loire gardens.
Culinary specialties: Selles / Cher ash cheese, potato pancake, game during hunting, Tourraine wines.
I am a watercolorist and I recommend artists to come and appreciate our forests and ponds, the lights are soft and the colors are tender.
We share with you the fruits and vegetables of the garden according to the season. The spices are at your disposal in the garden.
On the table awaits you a local goat cheese or other house specialty depending on the season. Homemade jam.
A precision. during school holidays I can be reached in the countryside on 02 54 83 86 64 most often or on 06 20 81 18 05.
a multisport area is installed in the village and also the possibility of angling on a pond. A superb library is open.

Excellent Stay in Gy-en-Sologne
We had a very nice stay at the cottage owned by gracious hosts Fabienne and Humbert in Gy-en-Sologne.
The cottage was quite comfortable for 4 adults and a small child, with 2 bedrooms, one
bath and a large living area and kitchen. The cottage is surrounded by a number of
fruit trees, vegetable gardens and flower beds, all great for exploring by a small child.
There are also a few chickens that provide great interest.
The center of the small town is about a 10 minute walk from the cottage, and in
another direction one can visit a farm with a number of friendly horses. The area
is near the Cher River where one can visit a number of famous Chateaux and also
the ZooParc de Beauval. We would definitely stay at this cottage again!
