In a small village in the heart of the natural park of the mountains of Ardeche at an altitude of 400m. We had a fantastic 3 week holiday in Saint-Pierre-de-Colombier in August/September 2025. So where do I start and where do I end? The host couple are absolutely fantastic, sweet and very helpful.The house is really good. There is everything you can think of in terms of equipment. Super good beds, which is important for a good holiday. Good rooms, with plenty of cupboard space. The bathroom is a nice size and has plenty of space in the shower. It was nicely cleaned upon arrival. In the living room there is very good material / flyers for various attractions - also a little in English The small terrace on the veranda is ideal for a cup of morning coffee in the sun. We also used the large terrace at the end of the house and the covered lounge area a lot when it got hot in the afternoon. Despite high outside temperatures, the house itself was always cool. During our period, the maximum daytime temperature was 33-37 degrees.The house has a garden with many green plants, which provides a certain privacy despite the fact that the house is located a little high.In Saint-Pierre-de Columbier there is a small grocery store with a really nice selection of almost everything and otherwise there are really good shopping opportunities in the nearby towns, for example InterMarche in Lalevade-dÁrdéche.We can highly recommend a holiday with this host family.Henry and Hanne, Denmark.

Super! The house is super clean and offers many features, as the photos on the website show. Big plus is the air conditioning, especially on very hot days. Good beds, fully equipped kitchen, etc..Contact with the owner is very smooth. Furthermore, by the river it is lovely to relax on hot days. In terms of surroundings, it is varied and you can walk, cycle or visit pretty villages. We liked it so much that we will definitely come back again.

We hebben met ons gezin van 6 personen een heerlijke tijd gehad. Het huis is heel compleet, alles wat iemand nodig heeft is aanwezig. En het “eigen” plekje bij de rivier is ook prachtig. Ik raad dit huis zeker aan!
