Zunächst möchten wir uns für die tolle Kommunikation im Vorfeld in dieser nicht ganz so einfachen Coronazeit bedanken. Lange war nicht klar, ob wir anreisen können. Wir überlegten gemeinsam über Alternativen, falls eine Anreise aufgrund der aktuellen Coronabeschränkungen unmöglich sein sollte. Zu guter Letzt konnten wir anreisen und durften sogar eine Stunde früher einchecken. Danke nochmals dafür. Der Check-in bzw. die Schlüsselübergabe verliefen reibungslos.
Für uns war die Lage ideal. Der nächste Supermarkt war zwei Minuten entfernt und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wenige Minuten entfernt, erreichte man einen LIDL und einen riesigen HYPER U. Das Meer erreichte man in ca. 35 min. (Plage de Nartelle in ST. Maxime, unser Lieblingsstrand). Guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge nach St. Tropez oder Monacco.
Die Anfahrt des Parkplatzes war etwas abenteuerlich (steil, eng und mit Kies). Zum Glück war es hell bei der Anreise. Leider gab es auch kein/en Gras/ Rasen im Garten, wie auf den Fotos, sondern nur noch Kies. Im Vorfeld hatten wir uns gerade wegen der Grünfläche und der vielen schattigen Plätze für die Ferienwohnung entschieden. Dennoch konnten sich die Kinder und wir uns damit arrangieren. Leider lagen überall sehr viele Piniennadeln und Oleanderblätter und Blüten herum, wodurch der Außenbereich ungepflegt wirkte. Am nächsten Tag haben wir die Piniennadeln, sowie Oleanderblätter und Blüten zusammengerecht und schon sah es sehr viel gepflegter aus. Es sollte eventuell regelmäßiger Gartenpflege erfolgen (ca. alle 4-5 Tage). Die Poolreinigung erfolgte einmal in der Woche von den Nachbarn (samstags). Zwischendurch musste man dies selbst übernehmen.
In der Ferienwohnung angekommen, empfing uns ein muffig, feuchter Geruch. Nicht ungewöhnlich für südliche Ziele, und für uns nicht gänzlich unbekannt. Nach einer Weile des Lüftens konnte man es einigermaßen wegbekommen. Einige Schränke in Küche und Schlafzimmer rochen dauerhaft muffig. Leider haftete dieser Geruch auch am Geschirr, so, dass wir einige Schränke nachher nicht mehr benutzten und etwas umräumten. Den muffigen Geruch versuchte man von Vermieterseite mit Raumspray auf den Betten (sichtbar durch Stockflecken) zu beheben. Das Geschirr hätte hier und da etwas sauberer sein können (Weinglas mit Lippenstift und an einigen Tellern mit Essensrückständen). Die Besteckschublade hing etwas schief in der Führung. Très bon séjour dans une location bien aménagée et soignée. La partie en location se trouve au pied d'une maison habitée, il n'y a pas de partie commune mais nous vivons néanmoins dans la même propriété. Nous avions le nécessaire et avons été bien reçu !
Il faut juste noter la difficulté d'accès à la propriété, en effet la descente vers le parking est compliquée. En dehors de ce détail tout s'est bien passé, Vidauban était un bon point de départ pour pas mal de visites.
