About this house rental
Pleasant mill house on the banks of the Sioule river, located in the Massif Central in Auvergne in Châteauneuf-les-Bains.
Near the Regional Park of the Volcanoes of Auvergne, Vulcania, Puy de Dôme, Puy de Sancy, the lakes of Auvergne and Vichy.
Country of wide open spaces with the CHAINE DES PUYS and its 80 volcanoes over 32km which has just been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Sioule valley, a beautiful river with magnificent landscapes, valleys, granite plateaus bordering the river.
And wooded areas, offer striking contrasts that will delight nature lovers.
Newly restored and decorated with a kitchen and living room of 28 m2 opening onto a balcony with a superb view of the river and the reach of the mill.
It will make you appreciate the calm and tranquility.
-Shops nearby, 7 minutes by car, open every day until 8 p.m. on Sundays until 1 p.m.
Region of Auvergne where life is good with many outdoor activities
- Short and long hikes for all, on foot, on horseback, by mountain bike or with a donkey, from the gîte, (documentation provided).
- Descent of the Sioule river by canoe.
-Fly fishing at the foot of the gîte or in the pond
- Swimming in the clear water of a crater lake.
-Vélorail on the Fades viaduct
- Tree climbing
-Via ferrata
- in February at 1 h 10 from the gîte, skiing, sledding in Chastreix-Sancy at 1400 m
- relaxation and cocooning on the banks of the Sioule in a wellness area (hammam, sauna, spa, massage.) 200 meters away with a view of the river, to do after a walk. (end of April to October)
- Visit of the Sioule gorges.
- Country rich in heritage, castles, churches and buildings, .....
-Country markets to taste our regional products, and also our artisan bakers, butchers, caterers.
-Tourist events, visits to farms and local producers, concerts, country festivals.
