Beautiful farmhouse at the end of the 19th century, completely renovated, cleaning included, 3 bedrooms with (1 bed 160 * 200, 1 bed 140 * 190, 2 beds 90 * 190), a toilet and a dressing room upstairs . on the ground floor, a bathroom with walk-in shower, vanity unit, large mirror and towel radiator, large wc, spacious kitchen harmoniously arranged for convivial meals, very large 54m2 living room with fireplace, corner sofa , flat screen TV, children's play area and various board games, library for all ages, billiard area for fun with family or friends, all decorated with sobriety to make you feel good, WIFI and documentation, to prepare your visits, car garage accessible from the house, ping-pong table, loan of bikes (4 adults), garden furniture with its 9 chairs and cushions, barbecue, path and wooded landscaped area, Necessary for children available (cot, high chair, booster seat, changing mat), household equipment, stove, dishwasher, combi-fridge, microwave, washing machine, ironing board, iron, hairdryer , optional rental sheets, towels, 14km from BAYEUX, 15 km from the Landing beaches, 50 km from CAEN, 6 km from the forest, 3 km from shops, 500m from the equestrian center. Beautiful house in a beautiful location. Town including super U supermarket & petrol station 5 minutes drive away. Unusual bathroom & toilet layout. One toilet with no sink off the kitchen, one shower room including a basin off the kitchen also. Upstairs one toilet including basin in the top of the toilet only. Great to have a pool table. Very small tv wall mounted which is not 'smart; so no ability to connect to a wider range of channels or Netflix etc. Good wifi. Comfortable beds.

A wonderful farmhouse with everything you could need. We have had a fantastic stay My only comment as a female guest would be to have mirrors in the bedrooms & perhaps wardrobes. We would highly recommend a stay here though.

A few days before we were due to arrive Natalie emailed us to remind us to bring bed sheets/towels or we had the option to rent them along with a cleaning fee. My mistake as I don't speak/read French (contract being in French) so this was a bit of a surprise. As we had already left home we agreed to rent the sheets/towels as we had no other option. It would be really good to have a contract in French/English to avoid any misunderstanding and to publish the fees chargeable. I thought 70 Euros as a cleaning fee was a bit steep and cleaned the villa myself.
I thought the request for a 50% security deposit was a bit steep but did not pay this and provide details of my travel insurance.
I agree with the previous review - there was only a toilet upstairs and no hand basin. The floor boards were so creeky that it did wake us up when going to the toilet.
To get to the main bathroom you had to walk downstairs, through the lounge which had no curtains, kitchen with no curtains and then into the bathroom at the far end of the villa (there were builders on site)!
The villa is in a lovely setting but is a few kms out of town. We wanted to eat out on evening but only had a choice of a couple of restaurants and one was closed most evenings, hence we had to eat out during the day and then eat in the villa on an evening.
I would strongly suggest when renting to international visitors that a contract in English (the one in French is over 2 pages long) would be useful.
