XVIIIth century manor classified Furnished for tourism 5*.
Holiday rental ideally located on the crossroads of Europe (Switzerland, Italy...), near Aix-les-Bains, Annecy, Chambery, Lyons and also Savoye lakes, wine route (Savoye-Bugey) and ViaRhôna.
Character house located in a fully enclosed park for 4 to 8 people, 10 maximum with children.
Beds ready on arrival, linen provided, pool towels, cleaning and service pool two or three mornings a week .
Large swimming pool (17x7m) with beach and diving pit (3.20m).
Solarium, sunbathing, outdoor solar shower, refrigerator.
The pool is secured by a locked barrier and a vegetable hedge.
Tennis court in quick and ground of balls in the garden.
Large south facing terrace with tables, chairs, living room. Shady patio.
ViaRhona (" From Leman to the Mediterranean sea" (Geneva-Marseille) cycle route passes 2kms from the Domaine du Manoir.
It is possible to cover some parts of the course.
Walibi Park is 5 minutes away. Many shops and restaurants, from the simplest to the starry ones.
Weekly village markets with local products.
Cheeses direct manufacturers. Wine region, many tasting cellars. (Savoye and Bugey).
Ideal lakes region, Aiguebelette (20mn, natural lake at 26° in summer), Aix-les-Bains (30mn, 2nd largest natural lake in France suitable for swimming and water sports (water skiing, kitesurf, paddle, boat rental...), Paladru (30mn, lake Isérois with its beaches). Lovely house in a very nice area. The owners were very friendly and helpful and we loved their dogs. The pool was a very good size and we enjoyed it every day. The only thing that could have been improved were the pillows on the beds otherwise everything was perfect for us. We would definitely return, so that says it all!

Our family of nine (two families) had the most wonderful holiday for over a week. Fantastic and gorgeously styled property with so much space for a large group. The location was also a perfect base of operations for the region but it was very hard to leave Du Manoir. Perfect hosts.

We had a very enjoyable time. The pool was super, but uncomfortable chairs & a pool house with no 'fridge or WC. Attractive spacious bedrooms & superb blinds making them very comfortable. Very comfy beds but blankets instead of duvets, which was a shame. The kitchen was not as
luxurious as we expected - simple & quite basic, which was disappointing.
Overall the whole place could be stunning but needs some serious tweaking.
