About this cottage rental
We rent weekly a family house in the countryside. It was just renovated from top to bottom and thus provides visitors will all modern convenience while keeping its local, rural character (roof made of local tiles, stone walls, period chimney). The house has an oil-heating system and a wood-stove was installed in the main room fireplace for pleasant evening meals.
The house is made up of a big living room with a fully equipped cooking area (dishwasher, washing machine, induction hobs, microwave oven, oven), 4 twin-bedded rooms, 2 separate toilets and 2 bathrooms.
The house is located in he countryside of Lozère, right in the middle of the Margeride, in the area which was made famous by the man-eating 'Beast of Gévaudan', that terrorised it at the end of the 18th century.
It is situated in the village of Saint Denis en Margeride, just 2 miles from the Bouviers ski resort sport station in summer. You will also be able to practise mountain bike or hike (or go look for mushrooms!)

Un gîte très agréable et confortable ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et agencées avec goût. Tout est très propre et fonctionnel. Nous avons trouvé la maison chauffée, de l'eau fraîche au frigo, de la confiture maison offerte gentiment :autant d'attentions qui font qu'on se sent bien dès l'arrivée. Les propriétaires sont charmants et l'accueil fort sympathique. La région recèle de nombreux sites intéressants, des parcs animaliers. Les gorges du Tarn sont toutes proches et magnifiques. L'ambiance au village est très sympa et les gens bavardent volontiers. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable et nous le renouvellerons à l'occasion.
