We had a really lovely week, this was an ideal base to explore the area.

Great location, quiet and rural from which to explore Normandy. We did D-day beaches, Bayeux tapestry and Mont St Michel from the gite, stopped in Rouen en route back to Calais. Great for kids and adults and a break from history - Normandie Luge. Stop at Tourist info in Vire to get 1/2 price discount voucher. Morning runs are cheaper - we were hooked and did multiple! Cafe en site cheapest, quality food - highly recommend.
Gite bonus - friendly cats :) only downside - narrow steep stairs to 2 of the bedrooms. Highly recommend!
