About this house rental
Beautiful new home comfortable in a fishing village, classified site of two caps, 300 meters from the sea, 3 min from the center, with a beautiful garden and terrace, all day sun, enclosed garden, ideal for stay family and friends. nice and modern decor, two bathrooms (bath and shower), 3 bedrooms, one on the ground floor seen on garden with its own bathroom.

The property is fantastic, and we had plenty of room, even though there were five adults and two dogs. The property is well equipped and provides a washing machine and dishwasher etc. There was also plenty or of room to park our two cars. The garden is really big, and perfectly child/dog friendly as it is well fenced in.
We know Wissant well, and it's out third time staying there. The location is perfect and only around 5 or 10 minutes walk to the fantastic beach and a similar walk to the centre where the main bars and cafes are.
As has been mentioned by others, the only slight difficulty was with the woman who we met when we arrived, as she speaks no English at all, so we really struggled to communicate with her. She was a nice lady, but the language barrier ensured that we did not know what she was trying to explain - as it transpires, it was that we had to pay some extra money at the end of our stay for the place to be cleaned - we had cleaned it ourselves to a high standard, but we still had to pay her the extra cash (I'm not sure if this was because of the dogs or what to be honest) - we were in a rush anyway, so we just paid it an left.
If they are to continue to rent this property out to English guests, then the "meet and great" lady should really have some form of spoken English, or at the very least have a handbook that is written in English (the one they have is in French and German)
All in all though, a really good place to stay

Nice property, lovely safe garden for small children. Happy to recommend it. The only negative is that the lady who meets and greets was quite rude. She speaks no English and seemed very cross that we were still in the property at 10 am on the day of departure and that we had started the dishwasher. There were no instructions in English and none referring to a 10 am check-out time. (We left at 10.20)
But - we had a lovely week and would recommend this house.

Property had every thing we needed. Little difficulty with language barriers speaking to the lady who met us. Also the information pack was in French/ German . Garden was completely dog safe. Bed was a little hard. We did end of stay cleaning but there was nothing obvious to mop the floor with.The location was excellent - a 2 minute walk into the centre of Wissant. All the restaurants we went into allowed our dog in too ! We counted 7 dogs in one of the restaurants. Would be nice to return in summer when the place would be busier-very quiet in March.
