About this apartment rental

Modern and warm it has been renovated with taste for our own use.
Wood floor tile, slate wall and high quality materials give it a rustic-chic upscale look.
It is equipped for 4 people in the following way:
* entrance with storage and space for ski boots

* a closed modular room (with window):
1 / with a 80x190 bed for one person and a play area for children
2 / a second bed (trundle) offering two separate beds 80x190
3 / or a 160x190 bed for a couple with memory foam mattress
The room is equipped with several storage & night table

* a living room / stay:
- with 1 retractable bed (space saving) offering a bed 160x200 with memory foam mattress. The bed easily folds on the sofa without having to remove the sheets and comforter.
- plenty of storage space and an LED reading light next to the sofa for your evenings reading.
- 3D cinema Smart TV connected web
- bluetooth soundbar to listen to your favorite music stored in your phone or tablet
- large bay window for an exceptional view of the mountains. The balcony is equipped with a chaise longue and table + 2 chairs

* dining area with table (4/5 people) and chairs for all the necessary comfort and Nespresso coffee space

The district of Falaise is prized for its location close to the car parks and unloading platform. It is a quiet area with bakery, supermarket and restaurants and shopping at the bottom of the residence.

We were so impressed with this wonderful apartment. It was situated in a perfect location close to shops, restaurants, ski hire and the pistes, with ski to door access. It was clean and tidy on arrival and the host was always on hand to help if needed. We were really impressed with the super king size bed stored in the wall. The views from balcony were also amazing. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it :)

We previously stayed at the apartment in 2018 and had been really impressed by the location, the quality of the apartment and the check in process, so were keen to re-book this year when coming back to Avoriaz. Things started poorly with the check in process. We drove to Avoriaz from the UK and based our arrival time on the check-in times given to us for the booking. On calling the owners concierge to inform him we were around 1 hour away, we were told the property would not be ready until 3 hours after the check-in time. When we did get into the property, it had not been cleaned, and was in a poor state of repair. Cupboards we broken and not possible to close, door handles falling off of the toilet door, and plugs & light switches that were coming away from the walls. On our first stay at this property we loved it, and found it to be in a good condition. 5 years later it is all looking rough round the edges. The location of the apartment is fantastic. It is next-door to the underground carpark, there is a Sherpa supermarket attached to the building, and a boulangerie opposite. The view of Les Hauts-Forts from the balcony are spectacular. From the apartment it is easy to ski to the main part of town for all the local ski schools. If the apartment is given some renovation, we would consider coming back. But in it's current state, we would be looking at other apartments in the same area.
