About this house rental
The house is located on a plot of 3500m2 including a pond and its occupants.
The ground floor consists of a large room with living room, dining room and kitchen; A shower room and a separate WC.
Upstairs are 2 bedrooms.
The house is located in Barentin, dynamic community known for its numerous statues and its rich commercial area.
The easy access to the road network will enable you to quickly discover Normandy and especially its beaches: Veules les Roses, Etretat, Le Havre, Honfleur, Deauville, Dieppe, Fécamp and of course the landing beaches.
Rouen, the city with a hundred bell towers, is to be discovered absolutely for its history and architecture it is only 10 minutes away.
A little further you will appreciate the abbey of Jumièges.
Le Havre whose city center was rebuilt by Auguste Perret and World Heritage by unesco.
Normandy also puts its flora in the spotlight with the floral park of the wood of the Moutiers in Varengeville on sea or the house and gardens of Claude Monnet in Giverny.

We had a very enjoyable 2 week stay in Catherine's house. Very quite, wonderful garden in a peaceful surrounding. The house has everything one needs, spacious, well equipped and easy to clean. We holiday in France every year and this was one of the best houses, host and everything that you can expect.

Gite is on the edge of a housing development but is very private with parking behind a lockable gate and a beautiful garden shared with the hosts. We used the gite as a base to visit numerous places around Normandy. Gite is lovely inside, nice and airy with two sets of patio doors, has a separate modern shower room and toilet. The only slight negative is that there is no oven in the kitchen but a there is a combination microwave. We're not familiar with a microwave combo so it did restrict our cooking options. There is a large shopping centre within a five minute drive.

A comfortable, clean and well-equipped cottage with shops within easy reach. As it was hot we spent most of our afternoons lounging in the sun in the pretty and peaceful garden, being amused by the chickens and geese. Thank you Catherine for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.
