The studio apartment named "Picasso III" (named after the Spanish artist Pablo Picasso) is perfect for a shorter or longer stay in Basel for single travellers or couples. The apartment has a large bedroom/living room with a double bed. The open kitchen has everything you need for cooking - hotplates, oven, fridge, microwave and many other cooking utensils. There is also a dishwasher.
The studio apartment is located in a new building from 2018, was built according to the latest standards and is completely wheelchair accessible. An elevator is available. The price includes all additional costs, Wi-Fi Internet, TV with international channels, bed linen, hand and bath towels as well as the final cleaning. In the house, there is a laundry room with washing machines and dryers, which you can also use.
At Rümelinsplatz 1 you live right in the heart of Basel in the city center and within a short distance of all sights. The Basel Münster Cathedral and the Mittlere Brücke are within walking distance.
The Basel Exhibition Centre, which is 1.5km away from Rümelinsplatz, and the Basel SBB railway station are just a few minutes away by tram.
In the immediate vicinity of the studio apartment you will find the market square, Barfüsserplatz, the banks of the Rhine and various restaurants, shopping facilities and museums.
Note: For bookings of 30 nights or more, the following additional payments apply:
- A security/damage deposit of CHF 2,000.00, which will be refunded after check-out, provided the apartment is returned in proper condition.

Terrific location! A quick walk to the outdoor market and great bars and restaurants within steps of our place. Basel is lovely and we were glad to have our own place while exploring this beautiful city. Very easy to get around.

The apartment is accurately represented in terms of size and furniture. The kitchen was reasonably equipped. Check in was really easy. The property is clean and secure, and in a terrific old-town location. Old town is a no-car zone, and though parking is nearby, it is outrageously expensive. It would be worth researching the parking options ahead of time. I would stay in the apartment again — and there are larger ones in the building, but I would do my homework on parking. Help fro the hosts on this front would be very welcome!
