In the historic building, built around 1500 and now extensively renovated, guests live in cozy, recently refurbished 60 m² (approx.) With a separate bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a living / dining room with an additional sleeping facility.
The apartment is on the ground floor and is barrier-free, with a walk-in shower. The fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, oven, coffee machine and dishwasher leaves nothing to be desired - so that guests feel completely at home. On request, a baby / toddler package can be booked, which contains a baby bed and mattress and a high chair (5 € / night). Larger children can be seated at the family-friendly dining areas. If you don't want to cook yourself, you will find numerous bakeries, cafés, bars and restaurants in the city center within walking distance.
The apartment offers enough space for a baby bed, for storing a stroller or for travelers with a lot of luggage. Cyclists can park their bikes comfortably in the bike room. In total, the apartment can accommodate up to 5 people - two of them in the large double bed (180 x 200 cm) of the bedroom, two more on the couch with sleeping function and a baby or Toddler in a cot (the latter for an additional charge).
Despite the central location in Rottweils core city, the apartment is very traffic-calmed - step out the door and the twittering of birds welcomes you. In the "Bockshof" green area a few meters away, you can relax, enjoy the unique view of the Neckar Valley and the Swabian Jura and (in summer) attend outdoor theater performances. Shops for daily needs, restaurants and cafes are a few 100 meters away. Parking spaces are available throughout the city center between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. (take a free ticket). A covered parking garage is approx. 400 m away. From this apartment, numerous Rottweiler landmarks, such as the Rottweiler towers, several magnificent churches, medieval buildings and even the planned starting point of the as yet undeveloped suspension bridge to the ThyssenKrupp test tower can be reached on foot. The best Italians in the city are only about 150 meters away, as is the ice cream parlor with the best homemade ice cream. A beautiful playground is available for travelers with children approx. 400 m away. Supermarkets can be reached in 300 - 600 m. The train station is about 1.9 km away.

The apartment is in a pretty part of Rottweil but all Rottweil is pretty. We appreciated being so close to the centre taking full advantage of this, enjoying the carnival(Fasnet) celebrations.
The apartment suited our needs and though it had everything we needed, all 4 of us agree that it could have been more comfortable.
