About this apartment rental
Our 200 year old half-timbered house with the modernly equipped and renovated apartment is located in the quiet district of Irlenborn, close to the fields, meadows and forests. The Sieghöhen hiking trail leads past our house. There are many other hiking, cycling and mountain bike routes in the area.
We are a certified quality host of the German Hiking Association.
Bicycles and a parking space are included in the rental price free of charge. Our large property with a small pond, a separately covered outdoor seating area, an open fireplace and a barbecue pavilion for our guests invites you to linger and relax.
In the 1st Your cozy, non-smoking holiday home is on the top floor of our pretty half-timbered house. It has been lovingly renovated and equipped with every conceivable comfort. There are beds for up to 4 people in the bedroom (double bed with electr. Slatted frame) and on the pull-out living area in the living room. A toddler bed is provided if required.
You will receive a bottle of wine and water as a greeting. Coffee pods and capsules, tea pods, vinegar, oil, flour, sugar, salt and pepper are already there.
Excellent transport links to Cologne or Bonn through the nearby train station (35 minutes to Cologne Cathedral). Sporting activities: golf (500 m away), tennis, horse riding, swimming, canoeing, biking, hiking, diving, fishing, archery, mountain biking.

Obwohl wir berufsbedingt erst am späten Freitagabend ankommen konnten, war der Check-in problemlos möglich. Mit dem Hund ist man in „nur einmal um die Ecke“ am Ortsrand mit besten Möglichlichkeiten zum Spazierengehen. Für große Menschen sind die Decken -wie bei alten Fachwerkhäusern üblich- sehr nah, aber das macht die Wohnung auch besonders gemütlich. Das separate WC ist praktisch, da auch nutzbar, wenn ein/e Mitreisende/r unter der Dusche steht, ist aber wirklich minimalistisch. Wir haben uns in der gut und liebevoll ausgestatteten FeWo sehr wohl gefühlt. Schade, dass wir wegen des kühl-regnerischen Wetters nicht draußen sitzen konnten und deshalb auch den schön angelegten Garten nicht näher betrachtet haben.
