Dear guest, Welcome to the apartment 🍀🍃 "Am Eschholzpark" 🍃🍀! The apartment offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday or business stay: fully equipped kitchen, cozy bedroom, bathroom with window and underfloor heating. Free high speed internet / WiFi. The Eschholzpark with children's playground and jogging trails is only 100m away. The Dreisam can be reached on foot in a few minutes. Grocery stores and the Stühlinger Markt are 500 meters from the house. the bus stop is just around the corner, the tram stop is a 3-4 minute walk from the house. Free parking in front of the house. The main train station can be reached in 10 minutes, the old town in 15-20 minutes on foot. The apartment is very, very quiet. Please no parties out of respect for the neighbors! Our holiday home is ideal for young couples who would like to spend a honeymoon in Freiburg, business people or fit retirees (2nd floor without elevator). Spend your vacation at the Eschholzpark and you will be satisfied🍃!

It’s a great place to spend several days in town. The apartment is located 3 minutes away from several tram lines, easy to find, in a safe and quiet neighborhood and easy to find. The apartment is on the second floor (European) or third floor (US). There is no elevator. The apartment was clean and functional.

Initial VRBO communication was difficult. VRBO did not send us access info in a timely manner. A relative living in Freiburg had to call the owner for the lockbox code, which we then obtained just when we arrived at the Freiburg train station.
While the apartment was clean and accommodating, we were unable to gain internet access or operate the TV as there were no instructions. We again had to contact the owner for assistance. Similarly, we were not able to operate the kitchen range without the owner's assistance (no instructions available locally).
While we did not travel by car during our stay, we did have access to a car which we sometimes parked in front of the apartment building. All signs indicated that parking is allowed. However, there is no sign that directs one to purchase a parking pass at a vending machine that is located on the other side and at the opposite end of the street if one doesn't display a Resident Parking Permit in the car. No instructions in the apartment that would alert the guest to this requirement and the danger of being issued a ticket if a parking permit wasn't displayed on the dashboard. When we parked our relative's car the afternoon of the day prior to our early morning departure, we promptly were issued a 20 Euro ticket (very annoying).
Finally, due to conflicting instructions where to leave the key, the cleaning lady could not enter the apartment and the owner had to call a locksmith to regain access to the apartment.
