This vacation apartment in the heart of Monferrato, is located 1 km from Portacomaro and is set in a beautiful hilly landscape. The accommodation has a large communal terrace, which is equipped with garden furniture du barbecue. Portacomaro is a small municipality in the province of Asti and is located in the famous Monferrato, an area that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This area of Piedmont, which includes the provinces of Alessandria (40 km) and Asti, is known for its landscape rich in castles and vineyards and here are produced excellent wines and other delicacies. Important events take place here at any time of the year: The Palio of Asti in September, the Siege of Canelli in June (34 km) and the Truffle Fair in Moncalvo (18 km) in October. Castiglione d'Asti (23 km) is also very famous thanks to its castle, built before the year 1000, and the 13th century castle of Burio is also worth a visit. It is the paradise of the gourmets, who have here the possibility to taste all the delicacies and famous wines. In the period between September and October, the wine harvest takes place in this area and most of the wineries organize thematic weekends with delicious dinners and wine tastings.
