About this apartment rental
Our apartment house Sohl is in an absolutely quiet location in an idyllic suburb of Bad Laasphe, in the middle of the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge nature park, the second largest nature park in Germany and in direct connection to the well-known Rothaarsteig. In the headwaters of Lahn, Eder and Sieg there are also countless bike paths. In Sohl, one of the smallest village communities in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district, life in harmony with the rich nature is still possible, here fox and hare literally say "good night".

The apartment has the following equipment on approx. 85m²:
Sleeping and living: 1 double room with French bed (2.00 mx 1.40 m), closet, desk, TV. 1 living / bedroom with 2 day beds (up to 3 beds), closet, desk, TV, telephone, armchair, table. Cot and high chair on request.
Kitchen: The fully equipped kitchen offers a stove and oven, refrigerator, coffee machine (filter coffee machine and Senseo), kettle, cooking and eating utensils in sufficient quantity and much more, a dining table with up to 5 seats.
Bathroom: bath, shower, toilet, hairdryer, mirror cabinet, illuminated make-up mirror.
Other equipment: W-LAN, TV, DVD, radio, landline phone in all living rooms / bedrooms. Terrace with grill, seating. Washing machine, iron, ironing board. as well as storage for bicycles. Bed linen, hand and shower towels, kitchen linen are provided and are included in the price, as is the final cleaning. (If you book less than 2 nights we charge 40.00 € for the final cleaning) Free parking in front of the house.
Special offer: At your request, we will be happy to do your first holiday shopping and fill your refrigerator with everything you need for your extensive breakfast before you arrive for an extra charge.

Wir wurden von den Gastgebern sehr freundlich empfangen. Man merkt, dass ihnen daran gelegen ist - dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen.
Die Ferienwohnung bietet ausreichend Platz und Möglichkeit zum Aufenthalt in den verschiedenen Räumen - sodass man es sich auch an Schlechtwettertagen gemütlich machen kann. Wir haben Alles sauber und gepflegt vorgefunden. Die Wohnung ist mit einer Mischung aus Bestandsmobiliar / - ausstattung im Stil der 70er Jahre und frischen, modernen, hellen Möbeln und Dekoelementen eingerichtet. Das ergibt eine geschickt ausgewählte und freundliche Kombination.
Es ist alles Notwendige vorhanden, was man in einem Urlaub so braucht - sogar eine nutzbare Waschmaschine und ein Trockner, sofern notwendig. Im Wohnzimmer findet man zusätzlich reichlich Stauraum in einer Kommode und einem Schrank.
Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und gut mit Allem arrangiert.
Das Außengelände am Haus ist mehr als ein Garten. Groß, mit gepflegter - schöner Wildnis, einem Teich, einer Feuerstelle mit Grillgelegenheit, Liegestühlen, Hängematten ... vielen Plätzen zum Relaxen und aktiv sein. Ein kleines Paradies, besonders für Stadtkinder - mit Platz zum Spielen, Laufen, Entdecken der Natur.
Schon beim Frühstück haben wir den herrlichen Blick und die Aussicht aus dem Küchenfenster genossen.
Siegen - Wittgenstein ist kein Touristikgebiet, und das ist gut so. Im Grunde ist die Infrastruktur rein auf den Bedarf der Einheimischen ausgerichtet.
Die bekannten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten findet man vor, sodass man für die Selbstversorgung in der Ferienwohnung Alles bekommt.
Die Region "lebt" an erster Stelle von der schönen Landschaft des Rothaargebirges mit viel viel bewaldetem Mittelgebirge und Wiesentälern. Die Wälder sind herrlich wild und in der Natur auf den verschiedensten Wanderwegen unterwegs zu sein tut gut und ist sehr erholsam. Wir hatten tatsächlich das Gefühl - im Oktober - die einzigen Fremden zu sein, die dort unterwegs waren. Man wandert lange Zeit ganz alleine, ohne einer Person zu begegnen . . . wo gibt es das noch!?
In der Umgebung findet man durchaus mehrere lohnende Ausflugsziele.
Um die Tiere des einheimischen Waldes anschauen zu können - lohnt ein Besuch des Wildparks Donsbach/Dillenburg. Das macht sicher Erwachsenen und Kindern gleichermaßen Freude. Zudem ist der Altstadtkern von Dillenburg sehr hübsch. Der Ort liegt nah - bereits im benachbarten Hessen.
Insgesamt also - sehr empfehlenswert!

Eingestellte Fotos, die überzeugen und neugierig machen..., so fiel die Wahl auf Sohl, das große natürlich gestaltete Areal, das man wie wir nur zum Wandern am Rothaarsteig oder Pilze sammeln verläßt. Ob chillend in der Hängematte, den Wanderfalken beobachtend vom kleinen Teich aus an Damians Hütte, lesend auf der Terrasse bei einem guten Wein oder bis in die Nacht Sterne deutend - für jeden mag etwas anderes wichtig sein, für uns war es eine gelungene WERTvolle Auszeit vom KlinikAlltag.

Deze plek is een oase van rust. Aan het einde van de straat, waardoor er vrijwel geen verkeer is en je uitermate van de natuur kunt genieten. De tegenhanger is dat je met de gsm vrijwel geen verbinding hebt. In het huisje is wel WiFi, alleen heeft deze WiFi niet in alle kamers bereik. De gastheer en vrouw wonen boven het appartement en zijn uiterst vriendelijk, bereidt om alles te doen voor een zo goed mogelijk verblijf te verzorgen. Ik kom zeker nog een keertje terug. Hopelijk is er dan nog plaats na het schrijven van deze recensie.
