Comfortable and spacious cottage in small vacation complex, quiet location, directly on the forest railroad. Large fenced plot with trees and green space. Child friendly with playground equipment and plenty of space to romp. Cozy covered seating and barbecue area. An outdoor swimming pool and the guesthouse "Zum Waldbad" is about 200 m away. Plenty of hiking and biking trails can be found on site. Other tourist attractions in the area are:
Inselsberg ski area and Oberhof ski arena, Inselsberg summer toboggan run and fun park. Rennsteig-Therme Oberhof, Minatür in Ruhla, stalactite cave Kittelsthal, local museum Schönau, tobacco pipe museum Ruhla, the Celtic village Sünna, dwarf park and waterfall Trusetal, day trips to Eisenach, Gotha, Erfurt, Weimar, Schmalkalden, Suhl.

Summary of reviewsWe felt at home, cozy bungalow with a large seating area outside the door. We were able to check in early, got a grill and even charcoal on request. The beautiful outdoor pool is right next door. Plenty of space in the garden with a swing and lounge chairs. Despite the heat, the bungalow was pleasant, showing good renovation work. Overall, couldn't have wished for better. Just a note, no washing machine or internet offered. So don't be disappointed.

Wir waren dort wie zu Hause, gemuetlicher Bungalow mit grosser Sitzecke gleich vor der Tuer. Auf Wunsch konnten wir eher rein, bekamen einen Grill und sogar Holzkohle. Das schoene Freibad ist gleich nebenan. Wir hatten viel Platz im Garten, mit Schaukel und Liegestuehlen. Trotz der Hitze war der Bungalow angenehm, man sah die gute Arbeit des Sanierens. Insgesamt konnten wir es uns nicht besser wuenschen. Nur noch der Hinweis, dass Waschmaschine und Internet nicht mit angeboten werden. Also nicht enttaeuscht sein.
