About this apartment rental
Welcome to our very special apartment, which is located directly on the banks of the Moselle and within walking distance of the old town center of Traben-Trarbach. Our listed property - a typical Moselle villa in the classical style with a large park-like garden - was built in 1853 by a well-known wine merchant and has been family-owned ever since. Traben-Trarbach was in the 19th and 20th Century besides Bordeaux the most important wine trade city in Europe!
The 60sqm and self-contained apartment has 2 rooms, kitchen and bathroom. It is located in the extension of the historic property, a former plant orangery that was rebuilt in the 80s. Furnished and fully furnished in nostalgic charm, it offers incomparable amenities for a wonderful and relaxing holiday with a large sun terrace, direct Moselle view and garden. The interior is deliberately rustic, lovingly and somewhat provisionally designed. We value human and natural coziness rather than modern apartment charms with wall decals and aluminum bar stools.
Our property is approx. 1.5 hours by car from Frankfurt / Main and approx. 20 minutes by car from Frankfurt / Hahn Airport. Traben-Trarbach is also easily accessible by train through its own local train station. And by car you can relax on the Autobahn (Wittlich exit).

We are flexible, but we ask that we can already clean the apartment and get it ready for the next guests.
In addition to Bernkastel Kues and Cochem, Traben-Trarbach is a very popular holiday region, especially for hiking, cycling or just relaxing. Of course we have wonderful wine festivals in Traben-Trarbach over the summer months and autumn, from small (with a few stands in the side streets of the old town) to large where it can get a little louder (with a real wine tent and hype) or the " Days of open wine cellars "- then the winegrowers open their quaint old wine cellars - of which we have or had over 100 in Traben-Trarbach - and offer their wines with traditional, local winegrowers' cuisine. A wine festival that we can warmly recommend, solely by its atmosphere. Please contact us, we will be happy to help you with which festival and give you tips.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing week at Casa Stolte. The apartment was spacious and comfortable, and we loved the traditional eclectic charm, with contemporary touches. The view from the terrace is unbeatable with the view of the Moselle and we spent a lot of time just watching the comings and goings of life on the river.
We were made to feel very welcome by the owners who are happy to share the history of their home and gardens.
We would highly recommend a stay at Casa Stolte.
