Balcony with marvellous view. Equipment: Well-equipped kitchen, kitchen towels, washing-up liquid, dustbin included, bed linen and bath towels included. Entire flat with parquet floor. Sleeping: 2 single beds in separate sleeping alcove with large skylight. Car park: Public car park in front of the house in Quartierstrasse. Public transport in the city zone free of charge and included in the stay (guest card) Dogs: With consideration for residents and guests, friendly dogs that do not shed are welcome after consultation when making a booking enquiry.

Fantastic apartment in a lovely, quiet residential street only 10 minutes walk from Luzern old town and the bridges. We particularly appreciated the amazing balcony - the views of the mountains, city walls and lake were absolutely stunning, and we loved watching the view change as the weather and light changed. The apartment is well-equipped and spacious (even more than it appears in the photos), and the bed and couch were very comfortable. We stayed for 10 nights and never felt the apartment was too small. There is a fan which I think would definitely be needed during the hottest days, but luckily while the days were hot when we visited, the evenings were cool, so we didn't need the fan. There is also a big Co-op less than 10 minutes walk away (near the lion monument). Luzern is an excellent base for exploring other parts of Switzerland - we got Swiss Travel Passes and did day trips by train to Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen and Wengen (via the scenic Golden Pass route); Bern; Basel; Zurich; Locarno (via the scenic Treno Gottardo); Vitznau (by boat) and Mount Rigi, and Meiringen and the Reichenbach Falls. We had an absolutely amazing time in Switzerland and we would love to come back and stay in this apartment again.

Our stay at this apartment was quite pleasant. Our host, Peter, was easy to contact and quick to respond. The apartment was very nice and clean. It has a nice balcony with a great view. Definitely recommend!

The neighborhood is very peaceful yet close enough to walk to all the city has to offer. After a long day being able to take the 9 bus to within 100m of our place was so convenient. Highly recommend for a couple. It is a large studio as no wall separating the bedroom area.
