We had a beautiful stay at Old Wesleydale. It was easily one of the highlights of our 12-day trip. Deb was a wonderful host and the property is absolutely stunning. As nature lovers and self-proclaimed “birders,” we especially loved the lake. It was so peaceful and full of birdlife. No complaints at all, we just wish we stayed longer.

Historic building (previously a dairy) in an interesting part of northern Tasmania. Very convenient place to stay for a few nights before going on to Cradle Mountain.

The property was a beautiful heritage cottage, but with modern creature comforts for an enjoyable stay. It is set on an acreage outside Mole Creek and was a great location for exploring the caves.
I would have liked to stay a little longer to enjoy the local area more. I did some local walks but there was still so much more to discover.

Location was perfect for enjoying all the area has to offer, but perfectly rural and totally peaceful. Although late Summer is a challenging time for a garden to look its best there was plenty to admire about this gorgeous heritage property.
The bed was a little firm for my achy limbs.
