About this house rental
Our country house is hidden in a cul-de-sac in a quiet residential area. With the exception of the winter garden, all rooms have underfloor heating. This winter garden can be opened to a patio under a Japanese cherry if required. There is also a barbecue facility there. In the back garden, a cozy beach chair for two people invites you to enjoy the sunset.
The house has cable TV with entertain receiver and free WiFi, microwave, stove with oven, washing machine and dishwasher.
The stop for the city bus is at the entrance to our dead end.
With the KONUS card, which is included in the tourist tax, our guests can use local public transport for free and explore the region by train.
From the individual rooms you have wonderful views of the green pine forests around Schiltach and on the balcony of the parents' bedroom
you can stay undisturbed in the sun.
A hiking trail to the heights around Schiltach begins at a distance of 300 meters.
The heated outdoor pool and the tennis court with artificial turf, which can be rented from the tourist office, are only a 5-minute walk away.
Schiltach offers the historic old town center, four interesting museums and the romantic Café Bachbeck, a must for every Schiltach visitor.
From the Schlossberg you have a wonderful view of the city and the two rivers Kinzig and Schiltach. Nearby, a zipline through the treetops of the Black Forest is offered for the adventurous.
Schiltach is located in an area with excellent natural beauty in the middle of the Black Forest Nature Park. The beautiful landscape and mild climate make the Kinzig valley in the center of the Black Forest one of the most popular holiday areas in Germany, and rightly so. Nearby are the Bear Park in Schapbach, the glassworks in Wolfach, the local museum in Haslach, the Vogtsbauernhöfe in Gutach, the Tribwerger waterfalls, the watch museum and the car museum in Schramberg.

Wer etwas besonderes sucht, ist in diesem Haus richtig. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und es gab jeden Tag etwas neues zu entdecken. Auch die Umgebung ist wunderbar. Der Garten ist ein Paradies und der Wintergarten, ein Ort der Stille. Wanderwege hoch nach oben an Walderdbeeren vorbei. Wie gesagt, Wunderbar....

Meine Frau und ich haben den Aufenthalt in Schiltach sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr aufmerksam und mit den Nachbarn haben wir uns gleich sehr gut verstanden. Die Gegend ist sehr schön und man kann viel unternehmen. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten für einen schönen Urlaub.

Die altehrwürdigen Möbel verströmen einen besonderen Charme und widerspiegeln den Gesamtcharakter des Wohnhauses. Der untere Bereich ist durch den starken Pflanzenbewuchs unmittelbar vor den Fenstern sehr dunkel und gut für Gäste geeignet, die die Abgeschiedenheit und Anonymität mögen. Der Wintergarten als lichthellster Raum bietet die Möglichkeit zum Verweilen.
Der Gartenbereich ist urwüchsig. Die Natur hat die Möglichkeit, sich vollends zu entfalten, so dass sich dort hindurch interessante Weitblicke in die nähere Umgebung ergeben. Die eingestellten Fotos des Vermieters sind bereits alt und geben die tatsächliche Dimension des Bewuchses nicht wieder. Im Schatten einer mächtigen Zierkirsche befindet sich der äußere Sitzbereich. Die Seitenäste dieses Baumes ragen über und auf das Hausdach, so dass man den Geräuschen nachtaktiver Tiere lauschen kann.
Eine umfassende Renovierung des Hauses zum Zwecke der Vermietung ist zwingend nötig.
Die Hauseinweisung durch die nette Verwalterin war sehr gut. Einen besonderen Dank an das Nachbars-Ehepaar. Hier bekommt man Hilfe zu allen anfallenden Fragen.

Großes geräumiges Haus, leider im Erdgeschoss sehr dunkel. Einige Schönheitsreparaturen und die Gartenpflege sind überfällig. Wir haben uns nach ein paar Tagen trotzdem sehr wohl gefühlt, die netten Ausflüge, das fußläufige Freibad haben sehr dazu beigetragen. Schiltach hat einen malerischen Ortskern mit einem romantischen Flussufer.
