Welcome to the apartment Sabine!
Escape your daily routine and enjoy a vacation in the midst of one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes, in a quiet and sunny location with unobstructed views of the beautiful mountains, forests and meadows.
Our apartment is on the ground floor and 1st floor and is large as needed between 100m² and 130m2. , This apartment has a large garden with approximately 200m2 is, from which you can enjoy a wonderful, open view of nature. The apartment is located just outside the center of Umhausen in a quiet, sunny position.
The apartment has as needed up to 3 double bedrooms and a spacious living room made of pinewood with dining area and a sleeping area around a cozy fireplace, a 20m2 large, separate, comfortable kitchen equipped with 4 hotplates, microwave, dishwasher, Backrofen, refrigerator with freezing and coffee maker.
The bathroom is equipped with a double vanity, shower and bathtub and separate location from the toilet.
It is a Non smoking apartment.
If needed, there is a sofa bed for one. 7 Person in the living room.
Due to the size of the apartment we ask for your understanding that we only accept bookings of 3 in the high season. In the off season we rent the apartment also happy for 2 people.
Leisure: Active, family or health holiday - for everyone.
Hiking trails, Tyrol's largest waterfall with observation platforms and climbing garden natural lake, river rafting, Ötzidorf, mountain bike trails and rock climbing as well as the Arena 47 (top concerts, top events, climbing paradise, 20000m2 Waterworld, giant slides, surf waves, Outdoor Sports, Gastronomy, largest event hall in Austria, Chill Out Zones and more) are in the area, as well as the spa Umhausen. The treatment ranges from degenerative spinal and joint complaints to respiratory system and skin. The Aqua Dome in length field, the only spa in Tyrol, is 10 minutes.
In winter you can besides skiing and snowboarding and cross-country skiing, ice skating and tobogganing or simply enjoy an idyllic winter walk.
The capital city of Innsbruck is 40 minutes drive. away. Here you can besides sightseeing (Golden Roof, museums ..) go on shopping
Getting there: Leave the A12 at the exit Ötztal (toll sticker). Take the B 186 towards Umhausen. After the small town Tumpen you cross a bridge, then immediately take exit Lehn-Platzl on the left. Follow this road to the small fire station. Our house is then the second on the right.

We have a good holiday in Austria.
Thanks to Sabine and Gerold.
The appartment is good, kitchen and livingroom is a little bit old, but the bathroom and sleeping rooms are luxe.
The location is good if you want to go for hiking or klettersteigen.
Umhausen and Oetz are very close

Large 2 story apartment in an old farmhouse, in a tiny hamlet (hence not for pub crawlers). Close enough to everything. In the summer there is a nice outdoor space. Great views. Very quiet apart from farm sounds. Well equipped. Nice hosts. Very enjoyable stay!

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche im Ferienhaus Gerold verbracht.
Eine Tolle Ferienwohnung mit top-ausgestatteter Wohnküche, wunderschöner Wohnstube mit gemütlichem Kamin, wo wir uns sehr oft aufgehalten haben. Hinzu kommen moderne Schlafzimmer (jeweils mit TV) und WC/Bad (sauber und komfortabel) und einem umzäunten Garten, was für unsere beiden Hunde wichtig war.
Eine ruhige dörfliche Umgebung mit vielen Gelegenheiten zum Wandern und Spazierengehen. Und trotzdem ist es nicht weit zur Landstraße und damit zur Anbindung zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Ausflügen, die Inntalautobahn ist nur 15 Fahrminuten entfernt. Eine wunderschöne Kapelle (Maria Schnee) ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Das Haus ist wirklich schön gelegen und mit freiem Blick ins Tal. Sehr freundliche, unkomplizierte und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Danke dafür!
Dieses Haus ist wirklich zu empfehlen, es ist kein seelenloser moderner 08/15 Bau sondern atmet Seele und Geschichte und ist trotzdem mit allem Komfort ausgestattet (z.B. auch mit super WLAN) Wer es ruhig mag und gerne abseits vom Touristenrummel bleiben möchte ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen und bedanken uns nochmals herzlich bei Familie Grießer für den tollen Aufenthalt. Mit einem herzlichen vergelt`s Gott und Grüßen aus Thüringen!
