About this house rental
Well-equipped holiday home with light-flooded rooms. From the partially open terrace you have a view of Sejerø Bay. You will enjoy plenty of sun and fresh air on the terrace and barbecue in the evening. You can also try cooking fish you have caught yourself while watching the sunset. The house is located in the beautiful Veddinge Bakker and close to Ordrup with its small cafés and shops. You are close to the beautiful beach, an 18-hole golf course and not far from excursion destinations. For example, the Sommerland Sjælland amusement park, galleries and Nykøbing Sjælland. Veddinge Bakker is an extensive hilly area close to the beach and forest. Cliffs towards the bay of Sejerø dominate the landscape. The area belongs to Oddsherred Buerne, an undulating moraine landscape from the last ice age. From the 121-high Vejrhøj you can see a total of 27 churches, including Roskilde Cathedral. It is said that a dragon lives at the foot of Vesterhøj under the mountain, guarding a gigantic treasure of gold. On Ordrup Næ's outermost peak, Næbbet, artefacts from the Stone Age have been found. In Sejerø Bay, the coastline is varied and blessed with sandy beaches. Many of them are child-friendly. You will also have a great holiday on the peninsula by bike. In nearby Ordrup you will find small, cosy cafés and opportunities for shopping. At Dragsholm Castle, the restaurant creates tasty dishes from its own organically produced ingredients. The Sommerland Sjælland amusement park, charming Rørvig and the galleries of Nykøbing are also worth a visit. Ferries depart from Havnsø to the small islands of Sejerø and Nekselø. On Sejerø there is beautiful nature, megalithic tombs and a church with lime paintings, on Nekselø you will find unique bird life and anglers will also find excellent fishing grounds. The extensive hilly area is wooded and has steep cliffs right down to the beaches of Sejerøeran Bay.
