About this apartment rental
The two apartments completed in the summer of 2016 in a 105-year-old former warehouse are particularly impressive due to their location. The Tauber flows directly in front of the terrace and it is 150 meters to the market square in the old town of Wertheim.
In the open-plan apartments, the bedrooms (double bed 2.00mx 1.80m) are each slightly raised and separated from the living room with a kitchenette by a parapet. In the living room there is a sofa bed (2.00mx 1.50m) on which up to two more people can sleep and a 40-inch flat screen TV.
From the living room you enter the Tauber terrace, which we share with the two guest apartments. A staircase leads directly to the promenade along the Tauberufer.
The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, ceramic hob with extractor hood, coffee machine and kettle.
The apartments have free internet access (LAN and WLAN).
The equipment is largely new (2016) and high quality. Despite the central location, the apartments are very quiet.
The hard Wertheim water is processed in our in-house softening system, so that you can enjoy soft water of 4 ° dH.
The two apartments have a common front door. Behind it is a hallway that is suitable for storing bicycles and charging e-bikes. From there it is at ground level to the two apartments.
We, the hosts, live in the same house on the 1st OG, you will be welcomed to your stay and are available for questions.
We have two almost identical apartments that you can rent together. You can then get from apartment to apartment via the lockable entrance hall or the terrace.
In the immediate vicinity of the apartments you can reach everything you need for a pleasant stay on foot: a supermarket in the immediate vicinity, the old town with its restaurants and sights, the bike and walking paths on the Tauber, the excursion boats on the Main, the Wertheim Castle with its view over the Main Valley, cinema, theater, train station, doctors, pharmacies, ...
A small children's playground is 200 meters away. After a walk of around 20 minutes you will reach the very large playground on the Leberklinge in the Taubertal.
If you reach Wertheim by bus or train, you can walk 500m from the train station or The bus station to our house can be easily reached on foot in 7 minutes.
If you arrive by car, you can unload your luggage immediately before you enter the apartment. We will be happy to show you the way to free parking spaces that can be reached in 5 minutes on foot.
We are happy to rent one of our canoes for € 20 a day. They put you in the tub right behind our house and can paddle. Life jackets and paddles are included. We have a 4-seater and a 3-seater, so that all constellations from 1 to 7 people are possible. Tauber and Main are very easy to navigate upstream and downstream.

Everything about the stay was perfect, communication to the listing being exactly as it’s written. Awesome place with a great balcony. I will be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Wertheim. My room was good for singles and couples.

Sehr schöne Wohnung wunderbare Terasse, auf der herrlich die Abende ausklingen können.
Die Nähe zur Altstadt mit Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind optimal.
Wir können es auf Jaden Fall writer empfehlen.

Rented both of the apartments for a week long period. I can't say enough good things about the apartment and the location. It is the best of both worlds with access to the downtown area...yet quiet and peaceful with a terrace and view. Highly recommend.

Hier stimmt nahezu alles, die Wohnung liegt ideal in der Nähe zur Altstadt, zur Burg und zum Wasser. Die Ausstattung ist vollständig und in sehr gutem Zustand und wir werden bei Gelegenheit wiederkommen.
