About this farm stay rental
Our beautiful house is only 50 m away from the waterfront and the small harbor: Aicher zu Chieming, with foundations from 1598, has preserved the former pottery house in the style of Upper Bavarian farmhouses.
The house was extensively and carefully renovated from an ecological point of view in 2014/15. B. the small windows and room doors made of oiled regional wood were renewed; Vaulted ceilings and arches have been restored. New parquet or tiles were also laid, and the former barn was insulated and completely clad. The rooms were furnished in a modern way and equipped with some special, Bavarian farm furniture or antique pieces of furniture, so that the special atmosphere of the old house is preserved alongside modern comfort.
A combination of pellet heating and solar system ensures cozy warmth and hot water.
The apartment is on the first floor, directly when you go up the stairs, you open the door of the apartment into the hallway, which leads straight into the kitchen with a large seat, from which the shower room goes.
To the right of the hallway is the bedroom with a French bed, (160x200) chest of drawers and a small wardrobe, through the bedroom or across the hallway you reach the living room. Both rooms are bright, the living room has 4 windows to the gardens. The small shower room is equipped with a towel dryer and a hair dryer. For drying laundry or swimming or cycling clothing, you can place it in the sun on the balcony or in the garden. In the well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, freezer, stove with ceramic hob, oven, German and Italian. Coffee maker, kettle, extensive selection of dishes and cooking utensils can be easily prepared all meals. Across the hallway or through the living room you get to the small east-facing balcony on the gable side of the house, which - like the herbs growing there - can also be used.
Towels, bed linen, toilet paper, cleaning and dish soap are provided.
In the privacy-protected garden there are loungers for a relaxing siesta. The former wash house has been converted into an outdoor seating area with an open fireplace and invites you to chill and enjoy outdoors, even when the weather is changeable or cool. Our guests can also grill here.
It is less than 50 m to the lake, from the landing stage of the Chiemsee shipping run from May 1st to 6th. Otkober several times a day ships to Fraueninsel with a monastery and picture gallery, to Herreninsel with Ludwig II Castle and to other beautiful places on the Chiemsee bank such as Gstadt and Seebruck. There is a public beach next to the jetty. Wir haben eine sehr nette, freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin gehabt.
Das Objekt hat eine tolle Lage zum See. Es ist alles vorhanden, um sich selber zu beköstigen.
Man hat eine sehr gute Ausgangssituation um Wanderungen und Fahrradtouren zu machen, Städte zu besichtigen oder einfach nur mal am Wasser zu sein.

In der stimmig und sehr liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Sie ist außerdem super ausgestattet und wir haben nichts vermisst. Besonders und schön: Der Balkon mit vielen Kräutertöpfen.
Zu etwas wirklich Besonderem macht die Wohnung natürlich die Lage. Der Chiemsee ist nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt, ebenso findet man unweit genügend Badestellen, das Freibad und einige nette Lokale sowie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für alles, was man so braucht. Und das alles in wunderschöner Natur! Mit dem Dampfersteg direkt am Ende der Straße sind viele Ausflugsziele so super erreichbar, dass man das Auto nicht braucht.
Zuletzt möchte ich noch die sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin nennen!
