The property is managed with great care by the two owners; Thomas Diego Armonia (Internationally renowned Pop Art artist) and Enrico Caneva (expert botanist and profound connoisseur of Mediterranean plants).

Moreover thanks to the villa's strategic location you can easily reach interesting tourist and cultural sights both in Liguria and in Tuscany: Sarzana, Bocca di Magra, Lerici, Porto Venere and the marvelous Cinque Terre, Golfo dei Poeti (Poets'Gulf), Portofino and Genova.
Handy ferries to Cinque Terre, Punta Corvo, the Islands Palmaria and Tino, Porto Venere and Portofino depart daily from the local ports of Lerici (8 km), Bocca di Magra (11 km) and La Spezia (16 km).

We had a very enjoyable stay. The house is charmingly decorated, the beds are very comfortable and the linens were of a high quality. The kids enjoyed the pool and we all appreciated just being 7 mins away from the main square and 10 mins from the supermarket.
Sarzana is quite a pretty little place and close to beaches and the Cinque Terre.
One of the bedrooms has a/c which was very appreciated by the children , two of whom had difficulty sleeping in the heat. The kitchen is small and only two rings on the stove were working when we stayed. Not too much of a problem for us as we are out most evenings. The WiFi was just OK but this may be due to the fact the property had thick walls. Tomas, the owner was very kind and helpful, particularly when our daughter locked herself in her room. He has an apartment at the back of the property. This wasn’t a problem at all as our privacy was respected and it was useful to have someone help with the various issues we encountered during our stay.

Grundsätzlich positiv. Küche schlecht ausgestattet. Mussten zuerst einen Wasserkocher, Messer und eine Pfanne kaufen.
COOP ist ganz in der Nähe also zuest einkaufen und alles komplettieren, wie Toilettenpapier, Haushaltpapier etc.
Entgegen der Angabe es gibt zwar 5 Zimmer und 5 Badezimmer aber das 5. Zimmer ist eigentlich ein Leseraum (mit TV) und einem Coutchbett und das Bad ist nicht direkt im Zimmer. Wer also mit 5 guten Zimmern rechnet wird entäuscht. Wir waren 5 Männer und einer musste das schlechte Zimmer nehmen. Sonst aber alles OK, Nette Leute aber etwas kurze Hände.

Perfect five nights at Arte Villa for our family of eleven where we gathered before our daughter's wedding. Beautiful rooms, pool, easy walking into Sarzana, and good location for trips to the sea. Thomas and Enrico were great hosts, helping us numerous times. Congratulations and happy 25 anniversary to them. Hope their party day was as wonderful as our daughter's wedding day! We had the most wonderful time in Sarzana and loved Villa Arte . We enjoyed the sunset nightly sipping prosecco by the pool; a fabulous end to each day!
Cleanliness is always our main focus and this rental surpassed our standards.
We highly recommend Villa Arte to anyone visiting Sarzana and Cinque Terre… by the way, staying here and visiting the area was in our opinion the best way to go. Not as busy as the other towns and easy access by car to main tourist destinations.
