During a whirlwind tour through Europe, Scassatini was the highlight! Breathtakingly beautiful views, extremely well appointed accommodations, and the most gracious hosts we encountered in all of our travels. We hated to leave, but alas, we plan to return whenever we can. Gitta and Hardy made our whole vacation!!!❤️❤️❤️

Room was very Tuscan! The bed was very comfortable and room was so cozy. It came with a fully equipped kitchen and shower room with plentiful closet space.
We had our own privacy from the side entrance separating the main house from guest house. Parking was easy and the roads were beautiful with scenic drives coming and going from the property.
The hosts Gitta and Hardy were beyond wonderful in every way. We were running late the day of arrival and they communicated with us following up on our status hoping we were finding the place ok with detailed instructions of where to find the home and what to do once we parked.
They greeted us upon arrival and hosted us the next morning with coffee and great conversation. They shared favorite local spots to eat and visit, as well as good areas to look for properties to purchase, as we were in Italy for the first time searching for homes in Tuscany. We felt so welcome!! Our last evening there we had wine together and they gifted some of their olive oil from their land to my mother to bring home as a gift. We had coffee the next morning before we left and are looking forward to visiting again soon!!
I have to say this property exceeded our expectations. It was a dream!
We hope to come back and stay during warmer seasons to utilize they’re gorgeous pool and local wine tasting from the neighbors vineyard.
I feel as though we have gained some new friends whom are close to our hearts now.
Do not hestitate to rent this property. It was worth every penny!

Nach langer Autofahrt sind wir erschöpft in diesem kleinen Paradies in der Toskana angekommen. Wir wurden mit einer Herzlichkeit empfangen, die uns das Gefühl gab, zu Gast bei Freunden zu sein.
Die Lage des Anwesens ist traumhaft; mit Weitblick in die Hügel rund um Lucca. Das Appartement ist wunderschön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es fehlt wirklich an Nichts! Wir konnten dort mit unserem Malteser-Mix Lucky eine schöne und entspannte Zeit verbringen. Der Pool und die Terrasse sind sehr besonders.
Gitta und Hardy haben wir in jeder Hinsicht als wunderbare Gastgeber erlebt. Die Limoncello - Verkostung unter dem Olivenbaum wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben.

Le cadre est superbe le logement est petit mais bien aménagé. Malgré de grosses chaleurs la température dans le logement reste agréable. Les hôtes sont gentils (nous les avons très peu vus).
Coté négatif, beaucoup de guêpes, frelons et moustiques ce qui rend les repas du soir à l'extérieur pratiquement impossible. Nous avons réussi à recevoir une seule chaine de télévision via un satellite qui propose essentiellement des chaines allemandes. La réception est de mauvaise qualité.
Le reste de la maison, le jardin et la piscine sont très jolis.
