The Zachara family is very friendly. The apartment was perfectly cleaned and well equipped. We had everything we needed including things like extra towels, dishwasher detergent, tissues, and loads of pamphlets for things to do in the area.
The location is perfect. Just a few steps from the Mosel and in a very peaceful, quiet place. And from Piesport, you can get to places like Cochem and Trier in just 30-45 minutes.
We both suffered with slipped discs in our teens and have always dealt with back problems. Therefore, the very very hard couch and bed were not for us, but you can’t please everyone, and hard furniture certainly lasts longer so I understand why it’s there.
We typically grill 2-4 times a week on vacation, but the grill belongs to their daughter and wasn’t prepared for use until the end of our 4th day. I would personally recommend leaving the grill off the advertisement if they aren’t always prepared for someone to use it, but that’s just a suggestion. We still had nice meals while we were there.
The large whirlpool tub shown in the pictures cannot be used due to a broken motor. We didn’t understand why we couldn’t bathe without jets, but we were asked not to use it at all. It might also be a good idea to remove the picture of the tub from the advertisement so people can set their expectations.
But, in spite of not having use of the tub, the shower is really nice and big. In fact, the entire bathroom is really lovely.
I never saw a washer/dryer.

Ein tolle, sehr saubere und super ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in entspannter Atmosphäre und ruhiger Lage. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben einen schönen Urlaub hier verbracht.
Wenn es uns wieder an die Mosel zieht, würden wir die Ferienwohnung jederzeit wieder buchen :)
