About this house rental
A cozy furnished cottage in the middle of Kølkær. It consists of living room/kitchen with fireplace, two bedrooms, a room for storage and a small bathroom. An ideal location for a quiet vacation is offered here. Nearby is the lake Søby, a very pure heath lake and with a child-friendly swimming beach. Søby was once an open-cast lignite mine, but is now blessed with a wealth of species after renaturation. On 16 km² there are now high white sand peaks and reddish brown lignite lakes to see, which offer beautiful contrasts. In the lignite museum you can learn a lot about the hard barrack life during the Second World War and the years after.
A quarter of an hour from the house is Herning, where young and old will find plenty of entertainment: Boxing at the Exhibition Center, Baboon City - an indoor playland and the Herning shopping center. Likewise, Legoland, Givskud Zoo and Jyllands Park Zoo are within reach of the vacation home.

Das Haus ist nett und gemütlich. Durch den dichten Bewuchs ist es ganz von außen abgeschirmt. Da wir zur "Corona-Zeit" unterwegs waren, hat uns die Ruhe sehr gefallen. Leider ist die Einrichtung (besonders das Sofa) schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung. Es bisschen mehr Beleuchtung im Haus wäre auch schön.
Interessant sind der Badesee und einige Heideflächen in der Nähe.
