The Casa Anima, 892 m above sea level, a very well-developed Rustico (typical Ticino stone houses) is located in the second third of the Valle Onsernone in Ticino slightly below the main street and is not accessible by a staircase. It is cozy and furnished with the necessary comfort. Bathroom and bedroom with direct access are at the lowest level in the garden. The entrance to the kitchen with dining and seating area is located on the middle level. A good wood stove provides in any weather for warmth. On the main level is a large lounge / living room with 2 beds.
The wild, southern garden is laid out on 2 terraces and well equipped with garden table / chairs, deck chairs, a cozy lounge, barbecue (Caution: because of frequent drought, firing is often prohibited). The property is fenced and therefore safe when smaller children are present.
Additional adults: CHF 10 .-- pers./Day
Children 6 - 16: CHF 5 .-- pers./Day
Bed / bath linen and kitchen towels are to bring.
Rental high season from 1 week.
Low season rental from 2 nights
Charges:
Final cleaning: CHF 100 .--. Leave on the kitchen table on the day of departure
Tourist tax from 14 years: CHF 3. 25 pers./Night
Firewood 1 box: CHF 25 .-- for cool autumn days (firewood procurement in the Valle Onsernone is very labor-intensive.)
Approximately 4 minutes from the bus station, so easy to reach by public transport (about 50 minutes from Locarno station). Drive about 35-40 minutes
There are in Spruga (10 min. By bus) a store with organic products and good bread. Even a few ristorantes, distributed in the valley, offer some simple menus.
In summer, the Isorno invites you to cool off in romantic places between the rocks and the countless hiking trails offer wonderful discovery tours for all levels of difficulty.

We’ve enjoyed our stay here very much. The house is well taken care of by it’s owners: you can feel the love they put into it. Everything you need is there. The village and valley are spectacular. We’ve enjoyed the hikes , and so did our dog.

A wonderfully remote location for swimming in beautiful mountain rivers and relaxing. The house is well equipped and has stunning views. I had one caveat: for a British visitor it was odd to be asked to bring linen and towels.

Wir haben zwei sehr schöne Wochen in diesem hübschen, gemütlichen und gut ausgestatteten Rustico verbracht und uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Aussicht vom lauschigen Balkon ins wildromantische Onsernonetal ist einfach umwerfend und im zauberhaften Garten lässt es sich bestens entspannen. Ganz besonders haben wir uns auch über die netten Begegnungen im Dorf und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft in der Osteria Cacciatori gefreut. Umgeben von Natur pur und fernab jeglicher Alltagshektik einfach ein wunderbarer Ort, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Danke Dorothea & Manfred, auch für die unkomplizierte, schnelle und reibungslose Kommunikation - wir kommen gerne wieder!
