About this apartment rental
Kaia is a beautiful, clean, contemporary top floor apartment (completed March 2015) and has just been recently redecorated, both inside and out. She is fronted by a large balcony which can be used to sip a glass of something sparkly or simply relax and watch the sea. She is tucked away, almost hidden from the busy esplanade so has the best of both worlds where all amenities can be reached by foot.
The wonderful views can be enjoyed from both the lounge and master bedroom. Comfortably furnished throughout with 2 relaxing sofas, solid oak flooring and modern kitchen. Kaia has a feeling of seaside and freshness about her. The master bedroom is spacious with en-suite shower, basin and WC whilst the twin bedroom houses two Victorian single brass beds, with TV/DVD player. A third bright bedroom has a set of white wooden bunk beds and built in wardrobe, ideal for children.
The kitchen is open plan joining the lounge so you can keep an eye on the little ones whilst preparing supper! The front of the property provides a free on site parking space for one vehicle and steps lead up to the penthouse on the top floor (no lift) with spectacular views. There are four other smaller flats in this recently completed modern building.

Positives: Lovely place. We went as a family of five. It was deceptively spacious, the photos did not do the kitchen & living space justice, as we had an expectation that it would be a very small flat. It was very large and all the bedrooms had so much space. It goes without saying that the view was stunning, and the property had everything you needed. I was so happy to have access to the hoover to be able to clean up after my kids and put a wash load on before coming home.. much to my husband’s disapproval!! it was immaculately decorated and felt like a real home, rather than an empty soulless property. whilst Ventnor itself is a little rundown and outdated, where this property is located, you have some nice coffee shops & restaurants. We had dinner at all 4 of the restaurants, walking distance from home and were very pleased. Negatives: the main bedroom has a feather duvet, and it was so hot to sleep under. I would recommend bringing a thin double duvet if you come in the summer. I’m sure it’s lovely and cozy in the winter! The bunkbed mattresses were awful. It was like laying on a bed of springs, to the point where when I stripped the bed, the sheet was caught on one of the springs which was sticking out of the mattress! Would recommend replacing these. Very uncomfortable for anyone over the age of 3.Not a host issue but an app issue, VRBO has different check-in times. Host sent us the wrong key code,the old cleaner helped us access the key.

Apartment is clean & very comfortable.
Waking up to the sound of the sea is fantastic.
Despite being so close to the town & seafront the apartment is quiet & peaceful.

Lovely property with fantastic views. Bigger than we were expecting - wonderful views from balcony. We went to sleep & woke up to the sound of the waves.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location. We fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the sea. Great beach for swimming and a couple of good restaurants in 2 minutes walk. Very helpful host. We will be returning.
