Villa Apo Petra resides in an enviable position just outside the village of Kokkino Chorio where, back in the 60s, the film Zorba the Greek was filmed with Antony Quinn. Kokkino Chorio really is a traditional village which maintains its farming roots. Its envious location enjoys amazing sea and mountain views from its spectacular elevated position high up on the Drapanokefalas Mountain. (WIFI available).

The villa is in an impressive location, overlooking a beautiful bay and mountains. The villa provides wonderful privacy and very comfortable rooms. The pool was excellent. The rooms all have air conditional and the kitchen and house sis well equipped. It had everything we wanted. The DVDs and nintendo wii went done very well with the kids and we enjoyed the books!
We had planned to take advantage of the Villas location and explore this wild but accessible part of Crete, but the Villa was so wonderful and the beach and village below so much fun that we hardly left. As a family with 2 young kids this was our best holiday ever so thank you!

If you are loooking for a house in a quiet location with a stunning view, then this is the perfect spot. We loved it and enjoyed every day of our stay. The sunsets were unforgettable. The house itself is spacious and the beds are excellent. The pool is nice and well equipped. Sandra is a great host and we found everything well prepared. The kitchen could be better equipped with knives, pots and pans. On the other hand the Weber grill on the veranda is a highlight. You need to buy a voucher for Internet access, however, we had enough GB in our mobile phone plans included, so we didn't have to use it. But these are minor flaws.
