About this apartment rental
Summer holidays by the sea - in the small fishing village on the island of Ischia in the Gulf of Naples. The nearest beach is a 2 minute walk. As a health resort, S. Angelo with its hot springs is known and popular all year round. The picturesque fishing port is located directly below the apartment and can be reached on foot in 1 minute. The place is built on the slope and can only be reached via narrow streets and stairs, so that cars can only drive to the entrance to the village.
Apartment: approx. 60m2, 2 rooms, kitchen, terrace & roof terrace, directly at the sea. Lovingly furnished.
Or in the winter half year: rest and loneliness, writing, painting, thinking. We offer special conditions for guests who spend the long term and maybe even regularly the winter months here and take responsibility for our apartment, including small repairs etc. Knowledge of Italian and / or contact with locals is an advantage. Photos are welcome to be sent, price can be agreed.

Sant’Angelo is the highlight of Ischia and this apartment is the perfect way to enjoy time on this perfect little village. It was amazing, and I cannot recommend it enough! We will be back!

This property is is very simple, clean, and in an excellent location - five minutes from the piazza and beach, and one minute from the excellent Mini-Market. Cristoph the host was kind and helpful, and gave us all the information and help we needed for a great stay. We will definitely return.

We spent a little over a week at the apartment in Sant Angelo. Our party consisted of four people, my wife, our two kids (11 & 13 years old) and me. For us, pretty much everything was ideal and surpassed our expectations.
Everything in the advertisement was as promised and I even feel the pictures do not do the place justice as it was better/prettier in real life. The place was immaculately clean and well kept. It had all the expected amenties. We all loved it!
We have rented apartments and houses via Homeaway and Airbnb many times. One thing I have learned is that you should make sure your rental is not to far from a supermarket or somewhere else to buy groceries. Well in this case there is a mini market literally just outside the door.
Sant Angelo in itself is a lovely little village. The car free little alleyways, small bars and restaurants, nice beaches, lovely snorkeling waters and down to earth atmosphere makes for a lovely laid back vacation. We really did not want to leave and will return!
All in all, I highly recommend the place.

My family travels from Canada to Italy for a few weeks every summer and each year we always try new places to visit. Italy is such a diverse country so it's never difficult to find exciting new experiences.
Well I can honestly say that Sant"Angelo was one of the most magical places I have ever visited in Italy. The pedestrian only streets really added to the tranquility of the village when compared to other towns on the island. Upon arrival at the port, our born and raised in Ischia taxi driver informed us that Sant"Angelo was the best place to stay on the island.
The apartment was perfect for my wife and our two young children. Fully outfitted with every amenity. Located just steps away from the best mini mercato in town. A pleasant 4 minute downhill stroll and you find yourself either at the beach clubs, the water taxi stand and the towns central piazza. The views from both patios were postcard material at all hours of the day and the happenings in the little port are always entertaining. A wide selection of wonderful restaurants are all within a 5 minute walk of the apartment.
Christoph the owner is incredibly attentive and stayed in contact with us both before and upon our arrival to ensure that all was well (plus he speaks and writes perfect English). My texts to him about the location of garbage disposal and the Wifi password were answered almost immediately.
This apartment and the town of Sant'Angelo are the epitome of the La Dolce Vita. The town is full of Italian tourists so English is rarely spoken but present if needed.
Do yourself a favor and skip the overrated islands of Capri and Ponza and instead head to the real heartbeat of Italian island life; Sant'Angelo before it is discovered by other international tourists.
And lastly to the owner Christoph. Please let me know if you ever decide to sell the apartment as I'd happily purchase it from you as my experience was simply that memorable.
