About this farm stay rental
This beautifully restored farmhouse (@1840), with a private heated pool and air-conditioned bedrooms, offers an ideal base for family holidays. Set in its own spacious grounds it provides a safe, secure environment with a heated pool.
The house is a 2 minute drive from the village of Sulignat with a shop and restaurant. It is a 10-15 mins drive from the beautifully preserved medieval town of Chatillon sur Chalaronne with supermarkets, pharmacy, shops, restaurants, bars, award winning weekly market and tourist attractions such as the old hospital, old pharmacy, museum of life in the Dombes.
On the south-facing side of the house a 28 sq.m sunny terrace overlooks the 10 x 5 metre heated swimming pool. The terrace has a sun screen, dining tables and chairs. The pool has sun loungers, reclining chairs and a solar shower. The ground floor comprises a large (35 sq.m) kitchen/dining room, comfortable lounge, spacious entrance hall, separate dining room, utility room (with shower) and WC. Upstairs there are 4 large double bedrooms (2 with en-suite shower), a main bath & shower room and a 12sq.m mezzanine. All beds have good quality mattresses and bedlinen. The area is ideal for exploring on foot, by bike or by car. Golf, tennis, horse riding, boating and wine-tasting are all within 15 mins drive.

My family and one other (4 adults, 4 teenagers) had the pleasure of staying one week in this lovely, fully equipped holiday home. The online photos and description do not give justice to the house, it was spacious, well maintained and everything we hoped it would be. The pool and garden/ patio area are fabulous; living area, bedrooms and kitchen had everything we needed and more. Anais the agent was very welcoming and met us at the property to give us a guided tour and explain how everything worked. During the week we had a minor issue with the temperature of the hot water; this was rectified very promptly the same day it was reported and did not affect our stay. Location is good, plenty of pretty towns and villages to visit close by if you can drag yourself away from the pool. Five stars.

Chez Odile et Colin was the perfect base from which to immerse oneself in La France Profonde and to explore the Crus villages of the Beaujolais . The house easily accommodated our party of four couples , the kitchen was well equipped and the pool and various seating areas were perfect . Anaïs the Concierge was a pleasure to deal with , promptly and with good humour sorting out a technical glitch with the pool cover and a gas bottle renewal.

We spend 10 days with our family. The house is spacious, beds are good, the kitchen well equipped, the garden wonderful, and the pool great. The environment is very quiet, so good place to have a very relaxing holiday. Support for all our questions was excellent. Several nice places to visit in the environment. We can fully recommend this house.
