About this cabin rental
This exclusive alpine house was built according to old tradition in a massive wooden beam. The roof is covered with larch shingles. Inside, the hut is equipped with original old furniture, made by hand. The centerpiece is the beautiful tiled stove. With great attention to detail, real alpine flair is created here.
Fantastic property in the Carinthian Nock Mountains. Right on a rushing torrent. Here is a wonderful place to dream and relax. In summer you can watch the mother cows on the alpine pasture, the hut is the starting point for numerous hikes in the beautiful Nockberge National Park. Absolutely quiet. Fantastic distant view to the Falkert summit. Far away from mass tourism, you have the opportunity to relax by the grill and campfire on the spacious property.
In the immediate vicinity of the Falkertalm there are also great skiing and hiking areas, such as B. Bad Kleinkirchheim or the Turracher Höhe. There are numerous shops and many other leisure activities (golf, fishing, climbing and much more).
This unique alpine house offers a small hallway in the lower area, a bathroom with underfloor heating, shower and toilet. An open kitchen with dining area and a small cozy living room with TV. The sofa can be converted into a comfortable lounger and bed for 2 people. The staircase leads to the upper floor with a small gallery, reading corner, another toilet and 2 bedrooms with a double bed and 2 single beds. The alpine hut is therefore ideal for families with children, pets are welcome.
There is handmade larch wood seating outside. Here you can enjoy the sun at any time of the day.

We are a friend group of 6 from Germany and stayed over New Years. It's the perfect escape from reality for a few days! If you're looking for a cozy cabin with lovely views and a quiet and peaceful surrounding, look no further! A lovely little stream runs past the house and you overlook the valley with a gorgeous view of the sunrise.
The bathroom is very clean and nicely designed, even offering floor-heating. The central fireplace quickly heats up the entire cabin and makes for a comfortable environment.
Can definitely recommend!

Anreise: Später als geplant wegen erhöhtem Verkehrsaufkommen (Sommerferien)
Check-in: Sehr unkompliziert! Wir sollten uns bei Hannes im Kärntnerhaus melden, wenn wir da sind. Alles ging sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Dass wir eine Nebenkostenvorauszahlung leisten mussten, wussten wir vorher. Deshalb war das kein Problem für uns.
Aufenthalt: Sehr schöne Gegend mit reichlich Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Wandern ist sicher für viele Österreichurlauber wichtig. Ich denke, die Umgebung eignet sich hervorragend zum Wandern. Für uns kam dies nicht in Frage, da wir einen gehbehinderten Sohn haben, der übrigens trotz seiner schweren Behinderung (Prothesengänger wegen Ober- und unterschenkelamputation) keine Probleme hatte, das Obergeschoss und damit sein Schlafzimmer zu erreichen.
Mit der KärntenCard kann man bei Ausflügen und Unternehmungen sehr viel Geld sparen. Bei den Ausflugszielen ist mit Sicherheit für jeden etwas dabei.
Wir waren in unseren 2 Urlaubswochen 4 Mal im Kärntnerhaus essen. Es war jedesmal sehr nett und die Portionen sind reichlich!
Check-out: Genauso unkompliziert! Hannes kam wie vorher verabredet morgens zur Hütte, um die Endabrechnung durchzuführen. Wir konnten pünktlich abreisen.
Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub mit sehr gutem Erholungseffekt!

Wunderschöne urige Hütte. Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Alles in allem zu hundert Prozent weiter zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

2. Leider viele Spinngewebe an der Hütten-Außenwand, Schlammpfützen im Anfahrbereich (äußere Sauberkeit)
