This charming area on the Lillebelt is surrounded by fantastic nature. Along the coast you can swim at the beautiful beaches, do water sports or go fishing. Inland, the vast forest and nature areas invite you to refreshing cycling and hiking tours. Many sights such as old castles and also many entertaining amusement parks make the vacation an unforgettable experience. Also the bigger cities like Kolding and Haderslev are worth a visit. In Kolding you will find among other things the mini town, Koldinghus Castle, Trapholt Art Museum and the Geographical Garden. In Haderslev, with its many green oases, experience the inviting historical atmosphere of an old trading town.

Gemütliches altes Holzhaus mit wunderbarem, nicht einsehbarem Garten und Blick aufs Meer.
Die Einrichtung ist ok - teilweise eben alt (die Federn in den Matratzen z.B. sind gut spürbar), aber insgesamt für den Mietpreis sehr angemessen, und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Garten- und Balkonmöbel sind zahlreich vorhanden, und die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet.
Abwicklung über Novasol/dansommer hat auch gut geklappt, Schlüsselabholung im lokalen Supermarkt, Stromablesung etc. war gut beschrieben. Endreinigung haben wir während des Aufenthalts noch zugebucht, die hat es aber preislich in sich.
Kelstrup Strand war Anfang September schon angenehm ruhig; der 150m entfernte Strand mit Steg ist super zum morgendlichen Schwimmen, das Wasser sehr klar, aber der Strand ist eher schmal und etwas von Kies und Algen durchsetzt. Wer länger am Strand lagern will, dem sei der schönere Sandstrand in Hejsager (fußläufig) oder auch Brunbjerg (Auto/Fahrrad) empfohlen.
