I am very glad that we stayed at the house.
At the beginning, we weren't sure about sharing the same house with other people, but then we realized that it is not a problem.
First of all, the apartment itself is very comfortable and well equipped. It perfectly suits two families with children.
Children can entertain themselves playing in the yard and there is everything for adults: very good indoor and outdoor kitchens, grill, terrasse and beautiful view.
Actually, it is very nice to spend a couple of days just staying at the villa: quite, surrounded by beautiful nature and warmed up by gentle Tuscanian sun. It would a great idea to accompany such a relaxing time with local white, a bit sparkling, wine and fruits in the day and Tuscanian bread, vegetable, grilled meat or fish and red wine in the evening.
The host and his family are very kind and helpful. By the way, they can help you with wine and food: you can buy a local wine on the spot, there are homebaked bread and pizza and the host can cook or grill for you if you like.
The house is located not far away from many different beaches, towns, and wineries.
For us, Follonica was the best: very nice town on a seaside, touristic, but, still, cosy place to go with a nice beach and good infrastructure.
Talking about a beach, you better know in advance what kind of beach you are going to. There are public beaches with no sunbeds and umbrellas (some even without a toilet) and there are very nice private beaches (like in Follonica) where you have to pay for facilities, but feel much more comfortable.
In general, it is very nice place to stay and meet authentic Tuscany.
